THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, WORSHIP AND BIBILICAL CONCEPT OF TRINITY [Including clarifications on criticisms raised by unbelievers about Christianity] A. PART (1) Christian faith and Worship, based on 1st Century Christians true Spiritual worship : Christians worship a God who possesses a spiritual nature, residing in heaven, uncreated, and entirely distinct from any deity characterized by a physical nature. God is a SPIRIT, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24). God is Spirit (John 4:24), and Jesus (the Word) is Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17-18). They co-exist in heaven as one God (SPIRIT), the immortal, eternal, invisible, omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, infinite, and unlimited by any dimensions of time or space. [Reasons: Jesus said “God is in me and I am in God” (John10:38, John 14:10-11) and “God and I are one” (John10:30) which are same as “Word (Jesus) was with God and Word (Jesus) was God” (John1:1), (ii)“Word” of God is the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Revelation 19:13, John1:1)]. So in heaven God and Word (Jesus) are one and the same God.[Reasons: Jesus said “God and I are one” (John10:30) and Word (Jesus) was God” (John1:1)]. That is why Christians worship Jesus Christ as God. The Holy Spirit (Helper) (John 14:16, John 15:26) who is also "the Spirit" (John 14:17, John 15:26) is with God. There are many angels who are spirits in heaven to serve God (Hebrews 1:14). Bible says the God in heaven pours down on earth (Acts 2:17-18, Isaiah 44:3, John7:38-39, Acts2:1-13) “His own spirit” (Romans 8:9&11, 1Corinthians 3:16, Isaiah 11:2, Joel 2:28-29, Haggai 2:5), “Lord’s or Jesus’ Spirit” (2Corinthians 3:17-18, Romans 8:9) and “Holy Spirit” (2Timothy 1:14)] (Trinitarian Spirits) , who are dwelling with Christians. B. Part (2) Brief description on Jesus’s descension from heaven, crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension to heaven. Spirit -Word (Jesus) is a word of God who was sinless, carried Sins of all mankind (2corinthians 5:21) and was separated from God (Isaiah59:2) and came to the world through the Holy Spirit in flesh and blood in human form. Subsequent to crucifixion, death and resurrection, He lived for 40days in this world (Acts1:3). Then He was transformed in SPIRIT form [Jesus is“SPIRIT” (2Corinthians 3:17-18)], ascended to heaven and merged with God and currently theyco-exist asone God (SPIRIT) in heaven. [Note : The prophesied coming of the SPIRIT of Jesus Christ, referred to as the 'Word' in John 1:14 -The “Word” became flesh and made his dwelling among us”- was clearly foretold by the Prophet Zechariah in 12:10 : “I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a SPIRIT of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced”] [Merging or joining of Spirits: God is Spirit and Jesus is Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17-18). Jesus Christ said “God is in me and I am in God” (John10:38) and “God and I are one” (John10:30). Also merging of Spirits is evident when God’s Spirit joins with our spirit and make us God’s Children (Romans 8:16). Similarly, he who joins with Jesus Christ becomes spiritually one with him, ie, Lord’s Spirit Joints with our Spirit (1Corinthians 6:17)].

This council affirmed the Trinitarian concept, acknowledging God as triune-three distinct 'persons' (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) in one divine essence or one Godhead. "God is not a human being (Numbers 23:19) and John 2:24 emphasizes that God is Spirit, thus attributing human characteristics such as personhood to God is contradictory. However, numerous scriptures in the Bible depict God engaging with humans in relatable terms, such as speaking face to face with Moses (Numbers 12:8, Deuteronomy 4:12,15, Exodus 3), and being described with sensory experiences like seeing (Psalm 33:13) and touching (Job 19:21). Even Moses is said to have seen the form of God (Numbers 12:8). Genesis 1:27 explains that humans are created in the image of God, which doesn't suggest that God possesses a physical body. This anthropomorphic language aids humans in understanding and connecting with the divine, allowing them to grasp the incomprehensible nature of God by relating to familiar human attributes." "SIMILARLY, IN THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY, GOD IS REFERRED TO AS 'PERSON' TO FACILITATE BETTER UNDERSTANDING THE NATURE OF GOD." (ii)BIBLICAL TRINITY: The Bible clearly tells us there is only one God. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one” (Deuteronomy 6:4). Only one God is in heaven (James 2:19).Our God is Spirit worship Him in Spirit and Truth (John 2:24) . God is Spirit (John 4:24), and Jesus (the Word) is Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17-18). They co-exist in heaven as one God (SPIRIT). Surah An-Nisa 4:171 advises desist the Trinity based on which some unbelievers question the equation 1+1+1=1. They might have inferred that Christians venerate three corporeal deities or anthropomorphic beings based on three factors: (1) Possible misinterpretations of the Doctrine of Trinity may have been influenced by figures like Waraqa bin Naufil, a Nestorian Christian from the Pre-Islamic Period. He supported the idea of prophet hood for their Prophet and acknowledged Gabriel's role in communicating with the Prophet during revelations. (2) When Jesus inhabited the world, He embodied full divinity in human form (Colossians 2:9). His flesh wasn't divine, the Spirit, the 'Word,' within Him was God in the heavenly realm (John 1:1). But, some may have perceived Jesus solely as a human being. (3) Observations of the presence of 360 idols in the Quraysh temple and a few idols in churches were noted. iv) CONCLUSION: The Non-believers were unaware that our God is immortal, eternal, invisible, omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient Spiritual God who can merge with other Sprits to become one SPIRIT (God). [Reasons: (i) Jesus said “God is in me and I am in God” (John10:38, John 14:10-11) and “God and I are one” (John10:30) which are same as “Word (Jesus) was with God and Word (Jesus) was God” in heaven (John1:1)]. The equation 1+1+1=1 is applicable in the case of Spiritual nature God. The comment on the Trinity contained in Sura An-Nisa 4:171 is based on the physical concept of the Trinity. The equation 1+1+1=3 is applicable in the case of Physical Gods only. Unbelievers often criticize the Trinity without realizing that Christians worship a Spiritual nature God. Our God is Spirit, distinct from both a physical deity and any divine person."
