You are better than I am and I've been playing piano for three years!
Thank you for the kind comment! Have a nice day!
Hi, I really like your videos, and I wanted to know, what you use as a guide. Do you have anything that guides your piano journey, and if you do, could you please share it.
Thanks @vigilbiaku547 for watching video! I started to use Alfred's Adult All-in-One 1, 2, Faber's Adult Piano Adventures 1 and watched some resources in UA-cam. Then I realized that I also need to take more time to improve techinques instead of just playing new song. So I worked through John Thompson Easiest Piano 1-3, plus Hanon, Scale etc. excercises.
can you please tell how to sight read (some tips and how u managed it ) ( I have 0 knowledge)
I am also trying to learn sight read. I will first to recoginize the patterns as well as any scales, arpeggios and chords, etc. so that I can read by a group of notes instead of note by note. Then try to play a slow tempo with separate hands and find good fingerings to minimize the hand position changes. At last try to play with both hands. Depending on the level of the piece, I will do fully sight read for easy one, and partially sight read for one matching my skill, like a reminder/hint. Hope it helpful.
@tong157 tysm
Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!😊
It's nice to see you posting more often again! 👏
Thank you for watching my video! I feel very hard to record it without any mistake.😅
awesome work man! Good job👏👏
Thank you for encouraging me!😊
Great practice session! I need to learn this piece too 😄
@PianoNoTabi The version of this piece I play is not that hard, but still beautiful melody. Cheers🙂
Great stuff are u reading the music in front of you?
Thank you @HWKUK! Yes, I read the notes most time while playing.
keep it up!
Nice metronome practice 👏
It is very helpful to keep even tempo.😊
Your posts give me motivation!
Thank you for watching!😊

Wonderful ❤❤😊😊😊
@MooreMusic12 Thank you!😀
Keep up the good work 👏
@PianoNoTabi Thank you!😀🤝
Great as always 👏 Are you sightreading or you've practiced it before?
Thank you! Yes, I practiced it first. Then I played it almost without looking at keyboard.
@@tong157 That's really cool! Glad to see you progressing every time!
Wow!! amazing!!
Thank you!
Interesting hand over hand technique! Very precise! 👏
Thank you for the comments!
What is your piano name sir ?
@@zorro8921 It is Yamaha dgx670.
Just bought Alfred's All in One. Excited to make the same progress you did!
u got into my recommended page, very calming song
Thank you for watching my video!
As always, beautifully played. 👏
Thank you for encouraging me!😊
Wow wow self-taught, superb 👏
Thank you for watching my video!
Well played 👏
Thank you very much for the kind comments!🙏😊
Great job
Thank you!
You play always with such correct technique, it's quite impressive! Did you take any extra lessons to have such stable hand position?
Thank you @PianoNoTabi for watching my video! I never take any in-person lesson. I recently take an online group piano class by Nancy, a very good Chinese teacher, who teach how to play a new piece in each lesson, for example, this one. UA-cam is my main source to learn piano technique. Recording video also help me find out some problem and make me practice more. A good private teacher will definitely make a big difference.
@@tong157 It's true, youtube has a lot of great videos to learn. It's impressive that you've got such technique without any private lessons. Sometimes I think about getting a tutor but it's often very expensive and it's difficult to find the right tutor. But please keep playing and posting videos. Your videos motivate me to keep learning!
Thank you very much for encouraging me. I have the same thought as you about tutoring. I have checked your channel and you are playing very good.
@@tong157 Thank you, I still have so much to learn, but I appreciate the kind words!
Impressive. I used the same books when I started playing about 15 years ago. Now I am 59 and will start practising again trying a give a fresh look how to play piano properly this time.
Thank you! I am very glad that you play piano again.🙂👏
Hi, how many hours do you practice each day? Pretty good job
I practice 2 or 3 hours daily.
Your videos always motivate me to keep learning 👏
Thank you @PianoNoTabi for the comments!
This is amazing!
Thank you!
Excellent! What book do you use?
I used Alfred's Adult All-in-One 1, 2 and Faber's Adult Piano Adventures 1.
@@tong157 thank you!!
You are willing to put in more work and effort than I ever was lol! I remember when I got lessons as a kid I would jump on the keyboard I had at the time just 10 minutes before my tutor arrived, hoping I’d learn my homework…. Wrongo!!! She always asked if I’d practiced, yet obviously knew I hadn’t… I’d actually have taken a step back from the previous week because I hadn’t touched the thing 😂 👌🏼
Thank you @buzzin-hornet for sharing your story. Unlike kids having good memory, flexibe finger, quick learn, I need to keep praticing to make a little progress.
@@tong157 And you’re making amazing progress and it’s beautiful for anyone in this world pursue their interests and even more beautiful to watch them succeed! Keep it up my friend! 🎵💪🏼😉✌🏼
How many hours do you practise a day?
@@GauriGm-s2c I practice 2 or 3 hours daily.
Beautiful played
Thank you! I am very glad that you thought it was beautiful played.
Very relaxing melody :)
Thank you for watching!
Really nice piece :) I've been playing the piano for nearly 10 years now, but I still love playing easier but beautiful pieces in my free time, Monday from Ludovico Einaudi, for example. I'm trying to convince my piano teacher to get me the Liebestraum sheet music.
Thank you for the comments! Wish you have the Liebestraum, very beautiful masterpiece.
As a complete beginner your videos are very inspirational. I have subscribed :) Please don't stop playing!
@PianoNoTabi, thank you very much for watching my videos!
You're so good 🎉❤❤
Thank you, LovelyrosesMm! I am very glad to see your comment.🌹❤🙏
I find it difficult to read the notes on paper 😢❤i want a teacher like u that can teach me how to play again but im 19 yrs old
You are still very young. I wish I could learn piano even earlier.
U look so young to be 60!!!
Thank you! I am very glad to hear it.
Wooow!! Really Inspirational! Tiny question: is the Nocturne Op9 n2 (Chopin) in an higher key than it should be? Feels like it… Congrats for all!! 🎉
@theitalianchessplayer, thank you very much! The music sheet I used for Nocturne Op9 n2 (Chopin) is a simplified version in F. Hopefully someday I can play the original one.
nice man, you are doing very well
Thank you very much for the encouragement!
