Gayuma and Aswang's lyrics are both risque, but both tie in to Alamat's goal to creatively infuse Filipino culture in music. I totally get how people think Aswang is overly sensual, but it's literally what the folkloric monster does, it sucks and kills with its tongue. *I thought I was gonna have a break on Alamat, but after watching 2 of your videos, I think I'm back 😂

There’s too much post-production editing of their voices on the Wish Bus performance. These boys represent their different lineage hence they are able to speak their own dialect. Taneo came from the Kalinga tribe and the men of that tribe are usually shirtless. Sometimes they will wear a vest with a sash but that's it. Hence Taneo is usually shirtless to represent his tribe.

It's part of their 2nd album "I Feel Good". This is the time when BINI is still experimenting on what pop genre best suits them. It's also a sort of a flex that they can also do different genre of music besides their usual bubblegum pop.

If you want more Filipino rock, I'd suggest Felip's "Kanako" which is in Bisaya not Tagalog and "Fake Faces" (he's Ken from SB19), Josh Cullen "No Control" (he's also from SB19), One Click Straight "MRT" esp the Wish bus version, and "Dilaw" by Maki (the video has Maloi from Bini in it and the live Wish bus performance is really good!!)

The Juans really has a lot of heartbreaking songs. They're a band, and their focus is mainly on emotional songs. And they make a lot of cinematic music videos with storylines. For you, knowing your music background, and also as an entryway song that's in English, my recommendation is to check out "Back Home (Live) - The Juans" the one with Karl at a piano and a choir around them. We really love this song and this performance in particular.

Did you know that Alamat has some songs w/ rock fusion? Please check "Sandigan" & "ILY ILY" (latter has multiple genres infused, so just be prepared for a rollercoaster ride). "Kasmala" has its live rock versions as well, im just not sure where to find clips of it

The Juans is a band under the same label with Alamat. One of the 1st covers by Alamat pre-debut is the Juans' "Di tayo pwede", incorporating their own flavor by singing some parts in several filipino languages The song is basically about one's impulse to cut their hair after a break up as a form of moving on & freeing themselves from the memories

It is rare to find a reactor that knows G22 but not SB19. There is so many things to be discovered about SB19, who is the top boy band in the Philippines. G22 is even called the female version of SB19.
