An Exhaustive Look At Batman's Current Chronology
There are many videos that explain all of Batman's history, but those tend to overlook how each time DC reboots, all of Batman's past gets overwritten by new modern flashback stories and opaque references that you have to put together like a puzzle. In this video, I present the current Batman's CURRENT canon, from Bruce's birth to his death.

Everybody Misunderstood The Plague Dogs

Richard Adams, author of Watership Down, aimed for greater heights with his novel the Plague Dogs, but it hasn't gotten much attention from critics or scholars. In this video, I spread some of the most fascinating interpretations of the novel.
The Redemption of Rocket Raccoon

We all love the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but few know the catastrophic consequences that came with them, and how the integrity of a beloved raccoon was saved in the nik of time. Voiced by the great Yuugenshou: @yuugenshou #Gotg #gotgvol3 #guardiansofthegalaxy #comics #mcu #videoessay #rocketraccoon
i became a big fan of Rocket recently, so this video made me cry haha i still haven't read the one story you told about him lefting his innocence behind, but i'm sure going to read it now great video, and thanks too, it was very special
Idk how people make hours long videos but don't know how to talk. Selina. Sa-lean-uh. NOT Sell-Lin-ah. Katana. Kah-ton-a. NOT Cat-Anna.
Just look at the comparison between the two writers' takes on Groot. You really complaining that they did a 180 into better characters when the series was so bad it got cancelled and Rocket was so uninteresting he was only in 10 comics over THIRTY years? The history and all that is fun, but let's not act like "Groot was hilarious because he basically says 'I'm going to kill all of you' like Doctor Doom" is the pinnacle of storytelling, because it's trash and the new versions are better.
Why does every plan need to be infinitely complicated. Literally every event requires there to be fifteen people involved in even the smallest shit, with most of those people only ever being part of it in retrospect.
Now I gotta go listen to Big Bluff
this is kind of like “then the balloon floated into the tree” “but we find out the tree was planted 400 years in advance by the bloons tower defence monkeys” “the balloon was made by the rebels and was an act of violence”
40:25 Mertiple Personalities 🃏🃏🃏🤣
I feel like the movies for Guardians of The Galaxy are prequels and story about how they actually became the people who they were in early comics
Can we have one for Superman?
Let’s be real. Suck it up. MCU rocket is way more interesting and deep then comic rocket
I was so incredibly shocked when I heard Echo ost in a Marvel Comic video essay, let alone "Sunrise Without You" I think I physically recoiled lol
Who did the cover at the end?
How many people were in that damn alley 😂
am i tripping or is that trigun music playing in the back
5:34 But Acerola!
Somehow despite how much the mcu has changed moon knight, his recent runs have not been influenced by show. He remains one of the only few who managed to survive mcuification.
What song is that at 28:30?
I know it's a cover of Rocky Raccoon, but what cover is it?
I love raccoons, especially rocket
trigun 98 ost used, you are a goat
Isn’t Bruce Jewish Kate his cousin on his moms side is Jewish
Really neat video man! enjoyable to watch. my only criticism is that hearing "quote ... endquote" every time someone is being quoted gets repetitive and old fast. you should try to find different ways of phrasing quotations if they're going to be used so frequently, or consider using less quotes alltogether
Bro got Rocket Raccoon credentials 💀 that's amazing
23:22 Double audio happening here, it’s distracting
Wait Dan abnett? Like gaunts ghost Dan abnett?
Guardians 3 actually hurt me 😂 I was in the cinema with my partner at the time and we were both crying 🤣
The Velvet Room music earned my like and comment 😂😂😂
You can't say quote end quote if you aren't actually using the quote. Every time you did that you paraphrased instead of quoting and it drove me insane
Jesus man what is this editing
Holy shit man buy a mic
Alot of the changes don't seem bad, just different.
I want to make my own comic so bad. As a child I had an entire line of hand drawn comics known as Donut Man. He was a former criminal running from police who fell into a giant industrial donut mixers ala Sandman from Raimi's Spiderman 3. He shot donuts from his donut guns and used a giant donut to run like a hamster wheel to traverse. His sidekick was Hotdog Man who put on his hotdog bun as armor. I miss those things tbh I lost them when I moved out and idk if my parent tossed them or not.
2:00 oh i remeber thay
Imagine rebooting your universe 5 times so its less complicated and this is the result.
Really good video...but I find the way you pronounce Selina's name disturbing. Isn't it Suh-lee-nuh?
Larger picture, the funny thing is that Gunn’s guardians somewhat killer the MCU and made it more jokey
So that’s where Liyla comes from
Rocket's not in it, but the Guardians in the new Ultimates run feel like the old guardians, true heroes respected theoughout the cosmos for their good deeds
That story. About feeling like you are fading into the background. Forgotten by everyone and eventually your mind takes trips towards the worst finale any human can give themselves, suicide. I understood it, maybe not with Rocket specifically but I truly did feel the words from that anonymous story. I have been there, I imagine almost ALL of us have been there. A pit so dark you would think you were drowning in tar. Like being strung up in a straightjacket and tossed into a sensory deprivation tank. Man do I feel stupid looking back on how I felt. And sometimes STILL feel randomly to this day. If you find yourself pondering life and death in this way, and if your worth in the world matters. It does, trust me it does. EVERYONE has someone or something out there be it a person, goal, success it doesn't matter there HAS to be SOMETHING to keep you going. Don't allow your own darkness to cloud the light that is YOUR human spirit. Every time I hear a story about suicide, or someone being so low they consider it I feel that pain again myself I don't know why. Please find your value. Your worth in this world even if you currently find the world to be hateful or out to get you right now. We all have a reason to be here man, truly we do. Even if its something so usually insignificant as a Rocket Racoon comic there has to be something for you on this giant green and blue rock in space. Humans are amazing creatures, we survived several extinction events to get here only to lose to our own spiteful thoughts? No way. We have explored the deepest oceans, the heights of space and every nook and cranny between we are truly an awesome thing in the universe, allow that awesomeness to flourish and find your reason to be.
I like the idea of having a guardians story start with the guardians starting out as this ragtag group of misfits and underdogs, outcasts and weirdos brought together not by choice, but because they kind of have to work together because they’re the only ones who can prevent some great disaster. Like how the first guardians movie goes. But they end up staying together, and grow into a team, friends, family, as well as true heroes like the 2008 guardians are. I feel like the gunn movies do that really well. Star-Lord grows into his status as a legendary hero and captain. He earns that name. They truly become the guardians of the galaxy.
So from a outside perspective on comics bendis seems to never be a good thing
Ngl Marvel vs capcom 3 is the one introduce me to Rocket Raccoon At first I tho he was a capcom character lmfao
Your audio is messed up at several points
When will we see rocket raccoon marvel rivals gameplay! I main him and Adam warlock
Video is good, but I wish you didn't blatanly portray your own feelings as the concensus.
I honestly enjoy the newer version of Mantis rather than the less interesting classic version of Mantis
Cancerverse Starlord sounds funny as hell 🤣
OBLIGED TO ACKNOWLEDGE USE OF BIG BLUFF
So, like... what did you think about Vol. 3?
So basically James Gunn did nothing wrong it was everyone else misunderstanding his stance on Rocket and going too far trying to chase the film success.
I'm too high for this
