❤❤In most situations we don't need to care, and can be happy and inclusive, but in some like women's safe spaces, and women's sports, it is unfair and has dangers to not acknowledge biological sex exists. The comments on this are sad, and all one sided. While the video had a slight biased tinge, it was mostly respectful to everyone. I am a strong believer in fairness. How do you make sure that everything is fair and equal? You can't. I was not born to rich parents, I did not grow to 6'9", I was not athletically gifted. And neither were most of you. There is no fairness in sports. There is no way to measure whether or not you are too talented/gifted to compete. Still, everyone deserves a chance to compete. This includes trans athletes. But how do you make it fair to them, to their teammates, to their competition? I don't have the answer. What I do know is that there are guidelines in place regarding this. And this athlete falls within those guidelines. This athlete is a woman. She is a trans woman, so there is a noted difference. Everyone calling her a man needs to check their bigotry. It is ugly. You can argue whether or not the sports science has advanced enough, is accurate enough to include transgender athletes without the blatant bigotry. I do not think that the sports science has advanced to the point that we can accept trans female athletes on sports teams while keeping sports fair. How do you diminish an athlete's talents via hormone replacement enough that they are competing as a female but not so much that they are weakened too much? We don't have these same concerns with transgender male athletes because they are in an uphill battle in regards to fair competition. You need to know this. A person is not going to go through all of this, the ridicule, the vitriol, the hormone replacement, the gender reassignment surgeries, the overwhelming cost for it all just to join a women's volleyball team, or to fake it. These are people, vulnerable people that you are attacking with your hate, and it needs to stop. Disagree, but don't be disgusting about it.

NCAA and SJSU might as well allow all male athletes to play in women's sport then since they believe males and females have same biological physiques which is shown by science to not be the case. Shame on NCAA and SJSU. Idiots in charge.

It's CHEATING! It's not just about fairness but safety! This lady-boy hits the ball so hard that most women can't even react fast enough to protect their own face, let alone play the ball effectively. It's cheating, and the rules should say so. SJSU Athletics should be disqualified from sports and the NCAA's leadership should all be fired for allowing this discrimination against Women athletes to be perpetrated

I've been around volleyball a lot in the last 30 years. Blair can hit very hard (I've seen video), but not 80 MPH. That is an error in the speed measurement (which happens often when attempting to measure volleyball speed.) I'm surprised that it's mentioned in the lawsuit when a quick Google search will show that the 80MPH is inaccurate.
