Badass 90s toy score with that mighty max playset! I loved those when I was a kid! I had several of the smaller ones. Its pretty rare to find them with the figures and accessories but still awesome just to find the playset

That is true. Up until a few years ago I could find high end brands (brooks brothers, Burberry etc that’s vintage and new) just sitting on the shelf. I’m lucky to find Lauren Ralph Lauren clothing line in a goodwill.

The reason they charge so much is because goodwill has there on auction site and people bid on the good stuff and usually go for high prices. So they know now what will go up and what goes in the store. We used to go to these thrift stores and get cool stuff so cheap. Now that’s over.

Man $5 for books and dvds?! That is nuts.

I do thrifting there, and some stores, usually the worst ones are increasing the prices. Sometimes laughable. Still a few being reasonable.

It also seems like they raised their minimum price on items to $4.99 in general. $5 for a dvd or a book and it’s so freaking rare that they even have a banger of a movie or book anyways so that’s got me heated. Yea they’re crossed off the list for sure. And now I want Taco Bell

A lot of people are donating their stuff to thrift stores in our area instead of Goodwill. Our Goodwills seem to just put the crap out in the store and send all the good stuff to the auction site. Goodwill even sells on eBay now.

I've been noticing as well that a lot of thrift stores are getting ridiculous with their pricing on certain stuff, it's crazy. And finding vintage toys in them are getting rare as well but I still enjoy hunting for vintage toys and enjoy watching others do the same
