I think the Dunne/Unnbriel island is more important than was given credit here. I thought the isles were so cool, and I kinda dug that each one followed their own set of rules and as we moved from one to the next, they each got more and more unhinged. LOL. Esp the one where they received gifts and you just had to thank them, esp after (IYKYK) I was dying at that one. But 100% agree, I hope RY writes book 4 and 5 with multi character POVs because a lot of the "side characters" aren't really side, they're just as important as Violet and I would love to be in their minds.

My biggest beef with the It Ends With Us movie was how surface-level ditsy they made her mom. The book conversation near the end between Lily and her mom where she talks about her relationship with her father..."every incident [of abuse] chips away at your limit, and every time you choose to stay makes it that much harder to leave. Eventually, you lose sight of your limit all together." That convo was SO POWERFUL and was so much less impactful in the movie. Big miss!
