I am also about to start The Auction fanfic! I read Manacled almost a year ago and nothing has lived up to it. I think its ruined all future reading experiences.

I actually think it’s more realistic to have few 5 star reads. I read 22 books this year and had two 5 stars. For me.. a 5 star is perfection.. no notes.. and changes you as a person. Not many books can do that! Loved seeing all 3 of y’alls top books of the year 😊

I agree, Up until the duel I was invested. From that point onwards interest dwindled and I didn't care by the end about any of the characters. Also cant get into Amnesia tropes. It's a character rediscovering what we already know and what has already happened :(.
