The most interesting thing about the people who are infected, is that they are still capable of doing somewhat normal social behavior like gathering around for a dinner or attending the church, which means that the person when getting infected will not die iinstead either, the person's consciousness replaced by something else trapping the original mind, or the person's perception of the world warped to follow the Sarkic religion. Corvus having the ability to change between his Warp Entity form and mortal form is pretty cool, another thing to mention is that he's not a Daemon, which seems to be a very common misconception. On the Daemon World of Sicarus, the new homeworld of the Word Bearers within the Eye of Terror, the Dark Apostle Kalta-Ar wanted to raise an edifice to both Lorgar and the Dark Gods, but this task was put to the side when he discovered that something had been killing the Word Bearers under his command, leaving their remains as bloody shredded piles of flesh and ceramite, some slaves who witnessed these killings said that it was a shadow that rose up and tore the Chaos Astartes to pieces. This shadow eventually came for Kalta-Ar, he would not even try to fight the thing that already killed many of his fellow Word Bearers, so he took the remaining survivors and fled to Lorgar's sanctum, pleading for the Daemon Primarch's aid, after some time the Urizen emerged to confront this shadowy monster. Lorgar and Corvus would engage in battle, trading blows that would've killed a regular Astartes many times over, but much like their first engagement back during the Horus Heresy on Isstvan V Corvus would gain the upper hand and effectively defeat Lorgar, Lorgar was able to get away from Corax and flee to his main tower and into a hidden chamber, slamming the doors behind him, bellowing with rage and contempt, the Raven Lord swore that he would hunt down Lorgar and rip him apart. Before Lorgar would try to do battle with Corvus, he said the lines "I see no Daemon" and "This is no Daemon" before beckoning Corax to "Come to me. Brother", pretty much confirming that Corvus Corax is not a Daemon, but merely some kind of Warp Entity, Corax does also mention " 'I am what I always have been,' said Corax. 'I am vengeance incarnate. I am justice delivered. This place, beyond the veil, has revealed what we all are. Underneath the veneer of humanity our father crafted for us, we are of the warp.' " inferring that all of the Primarchs are part Warp Entity, but encased within a human body. All of this comes from the short story "Shadow of the Past" by Gav Thorpe in the "Sons of The Emperor Anthology" in case you want to check it out, it's a pretty good read as is most of the Anthology.

Out of the original 19 Primarchs only 5 are dead: -Konran Kurze let an assassin cut of his head to prove a point. - Sanguinius was killed by Horus during the siege of Terra - Ferrus Mannis was decapitated by Fulgrim during the Istvaan drop-site massacre - Horus was deleted from existstance by the emperor during the siege of Terra - Alpharius (or maybe Omegon) was killed by Rogal Dorn during the battle of Pluto The rest of the Primarchs have either disappeared or are doing other stuff, like Fulgrim, who spent 10.000 years doing nothing on his pleasure planet.

So for context this game is set about 3700ish years BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) and the first and third trailers reference specific time periods. Namely 1300 years earlier, The Great Hyperspace War When the original Sith Empire led by Naga Sadow, who had fabricated a threat from the Republic to manipulate the Sith Council into naming him Dark Lord of the Sith, tried to blitz the Republic on multiple fronts. Only for the undersized and underprepared Sith armada to get their faces pushed in. The Republic chased them back through the Stygian Caldera to Sith Space and, by order of the Supreme Chancellor, purged the Sith Empire. A Sith Lord named Tenebrae seized control of a remnant of the Empire after performing a ritual to grant himself a form of immortality and led them into hiding in uncharted space, setting his seat on a lost Sith world called Dromund-Kaas, and at some point renamed himself Darth Vitiate. 300-350 years earlier When first Exar Kun and then forty years later Revan turned to the Dark-Side, became Sith Lords, and led campaigns against the Republic and Jedi Order. Exar Kun burned the Jedi home-world Ossus with an artificial nova, and Revan's campaigns and their immediate aftermath almost saw the Jedi go extinct. Surviving Sith from both events probably vanished into the shadows and eventually found the Sith faction led by Vitiate, hence the line "For three hundred years we prepared, we grew stronger" If you're interested in checking out more Legends stuff and don't mind spoilers then I can recommend the Jedi Grandmaster and Battlemaster ranking videos by EvanNova95, the Philosopher's guide to the Lightsaber Forms by Geetsly, and the Galactic Timeline Records (I've never watched these myself, but they come highly recommended).

Only four remain The laughing god, caggorth (i think that's how you spell it) Their war god Khain (i think thats how you spell it) Their healing and fertility, god Isha And most recently (recently ha) Their death god, their death god is very important in the lore and stories right now

That bloodthirter that was malnupulated by tzeench was name skarbrand one of the mightiest and most powerful of the bloodthirsters the thing is Khorne wassnt enraged by being attacked by one of his own generals was angry because skarbrand attacked him when his head or back was turned and Khorne saw this as cowardly move a grabed skarbrand by the throat and shook his personally out of him and then threw him which he flew like comet for days. Which you already Skarbrand turned into nothing but a bloodthirsty monster.
