Just watched this and I’ve been battling cancer for over 6 years my partner left me about 2 years ago for someone who was healthy and have been dealing with this alone since. Have an Ostomy bag and that’s what people see not the person wearing it

In the past 10 yrs i lost a lot of family members because of cancer

I always get so panicked when I see someone say something like "my (insert relative) had cancer" to someone with cancer. I have been trying to figure out a proper response for a while now, and I have come up with "good to know" for if you are/wanna be friends. if you are complete strangers, I think "alright" or something like that might be fine?

This was a beautiful piece. I cried for a long time and have recommended it to a lot of my friends. Let me just say that this has brought a beautiful aspect of awareness.

I am 73 and I lost a very good friend in the 80’s to AIDS his parents didn’t understand him and his Dad almost rejected him. He was so hurt by the way he got treated. He would often come to my house and we would cry together for his dad.

So sad to see on your channel you haven't made more films. This one is amazing Ms Mazer. You have a great talent.

The film is so moving! I can't hold my tears everytime I watch it specially the end part.

During the Aids Crisis of the 80s, I tried several times to be there for friends but most of them were too afraid of getting close to someone as they knew what was in store for them. I am one of the few lucky ones that never got the disease, but the pain of losing so many friends and acquantances still hurt and I am pushing 70. Watching and hearing the horror stories of people abandoning those that were sick (alot were family members) still make me angry. Your Movie was a Breath of Fresh Air...seeing someone that cares and loves someone when they are needing them in their lives was Amazing. Thank You so very much.

That "little girl" was too old to be so darn rude. Maybe she gets it from her dad. This film actually made me smile, especially Dalton and Phil at the end

Fabulously moving film. My husband died in 2020 after 20 years an amazing guy sadly missed. This film beautifully covers a similar path, most especially that gap when they go. Brilliantly done!

I love how it is so much different from other film. at first I thought it was a generic gay short film, but it wasnt! it wasnt the subject at all. it was just a subplot and I love it like that! (made me cry so much too ToT)

This was a very touching film. so much i want to say, but i um unfortunately am trying to get OUT OF THE HABIT of commenting with 'WRITING A BOOK' and going on and on. so i'll try to shorten things up. this was perfect and very organised...
