I live in east Tn and it’s really bad all around here NC is hit really hard bridges down now way in or out…I’m blessed to not be in that situation but we have had a lot of damage and people with out water and power and running out of resources like gas. Thank you for the prayers and helping bring it to other’s attention.

Fight fire with fire. Is the first thing that popped in my head but that may be too long. But meaning like a passion type fire. Or just Fire with fire. I don’t know just what popped into my head. Have a co worker that’s a Capt at my local fire dept (volunteer) and my neighbor has a paid position at a larger town one over and he’s Fire/EMT. The first ones to bust out” dont judge lest ye be judged” are always the first to judge. Plus that’s more of a believer to non believer thing as I interpret it. We should be judging our fellow brothers and sisters especially if they are being hypocritical or practicing sin. It would be unloving not to….

This is so true, evangelism is scarce these days. I’m happy to announce that we have seen a huuuge uptake in new members at our church. Can’t say whether they were already in Christ or not. But I got my Grandmother to come to church earlier this year and she hadn’t been in one since she was a teenage girl. I’d like to believe she welcomed Christ into her heart before she passed about a month ago. So praise God for that! Also my Father in law came this year. Both were just one timers.But We also got two families that we are close to that we’re in Christ already but didn’t attend a church and now attend every week. I’m working on several others some who are in Christ already and some who aren’t. Our Lord is doing amazing things my brother. All the glory and honor is his ☝🏼🙏🏼💪🏼

Morning so true we don’t eat out a lot but when we do there is always at least one family at a table that they are all on their phone heads down and not even saying anything the whole time. Drive me nuts! Anytime I get a chance to go out with my wife and or kids I make sure I engage with them. We all work hard and don’t always have that time to look at each other when we talk so when I get that opportunity I jump on it! So wait a minute you only let your kids get 15 minutes on tv but you are watching the game on your phone with them at a restaurant?😊

Morning I just ask my wife last night if they still recognize 9/11 in school. She teaches 5th grade and she said no they don’t. So I said how come and she said she didn’t know the schools just don’t talk about it anymore. Very upsetting man. I still remember were I was and how I was so glad when my family was all together at home safe later that day. My son was 9or10 at the time and as soon as he was 17 he signed up for the Marines but we wouldnt let him go until he was 18. But he joined because of 9/11.

I was in Health class 6th grade on that day. Great points thanks for sharing I’m mildly embarrassed to admit I didn’t even realize it was 9/11 until I watched this. Long day st work and went right to bible study after just sitting down to eat dinner as I watch this. Man I’m guilty of this today. I forgot or was just too busy to stop, notice and reflect…… dang

Good morning. Wow that’s a lot to write in a comment.😊 but we had both things happen. So my step daughter didn’t get her way at our house so she wanted to go with her father that didn’t have a house just bounced around from girl to girl and partied after my wife divorced him. So we told my step daughter go and try it which I was glad cause we always battled after she turned 13. Before that we were buddies. We are close now but them teenage years were rough. She only lasted a weekend and came home crying.😂 Then my little one refused to go to school because of things that were happening with some boys fighting near her and she got scared and the school would not do anything. We moved her to private school for 3 years now she’s back in the other school and is kicking ass. We had to go in front of the school board and they ended up firing the principal and superintendent. There is a lot more to the story. But at the end of the day it’s just consistency. Kids are touch man and they don’t come with a manual.😂 we can talk if you want more. Have a great day brother! And 15 minutes of tv dang man you can even watch a full show.😂😂😂 I’m just busting you chops your a good dad.

Just like when Shadrach, Mesach and Abendago go into the furnace in the book of Daniel. Not only are they not harmed by the fire but Jesus shows up in there with them. Nebuchadnezzar and his boys are like wait!?! Didn’t we throw 3 guys in there?!? Who’s the 4th? That’s Jesus! He will always go into the fire with us but first we need to have faith in him even when times are tough.

As the son of an alcoholic father I would just say it’s hard on the kid and they don’t deserve that. I’ve battled with this my whole life and it still weighs heavy on my heart at 34. I pray for my father and I will also pray for this guy. That his eyes will be open and his heart softened. That he may see that it’s not about him and whatever traumas the booze tell him he needs because of them. But it’s about that child and the legacy we leave. Y’all if your reading this till the end understand our addictions atent worth the trauma they inflict on the ones we love the most. But yes I have a very short patience for idiocy…. 😂

Good stuff brother couldn’t agree more. I get grumpy sometimes from the stress of it all too sometimes but do my best to not take it out on the wife or kids. But like you said sometimes it’s easier said than done especially when we are physically stressed. Backs been angry at me over here but no time to sit around to heal plus I’m outta sick time for the year with a recent death in the family.
