    Can you use carrots, celery etc?

    • @ThermomixingwithSophia
      @ThermomixingwithSophia 4 місяці тому

      Yes absolutely! It's really easy! You just have to know how… simply blend the fruit and vegetables with a handful of ice or a piece of frozen fruit and 50g of water on speed 9 for 30 seconds. Then set speed to 9 and pour additional water slowly over the MC (over approx. 40 seconds) and leave to blend for a total of 2 minutes to achieve a smooth silky texture. For more fibrous vegetables you’ll need more water (like carrots), whereas for less fibrous vegetables (like cucumbers) you’ll need a lot less. Start with a little bit (maybe 100g) and keep adding until desired consistency is achieved. Hope this helps

    Hello, that was super helpful. However on my whisk attachment it doesn’t feel as though it’s really that secure sitting on the blades. Is there a nack to it? Or is it meant to be quite free. Please do not preserve fresh garlic in oil. Health Canada released a report that this combination is a breeding ground for toxins that can cause botulism. Botulism (“BOT-choo-liz-um”) is a rare but serious illness caused by a toxin that attacks the body's nerves and causes difficulty breathing, muscle paralysis, and even death. This toxin is made by Clostridium botulinum and sometimes Clostridium butyricum and Clostridium baratii bacteria.
