I have two of these tins. The Charizard one and the Dragon type one. I use them for storing code cards in until I get around to claiming them. I think I would chose triple pack blister packs over the tins as they come with a promo card and I collect them! Kepp up the videos, I am finding them entertaining!
You know what, that code Card storage is actually a really good idea, cause I mix mine with like my 'keep commons/uncommons' container, I suppose after this video I got two now, so probably going to join you with that idea 😆 Cheers for the support, it's always appreciated 😎
@@Hustlémon Any time! I am looking forward to your Grading videos.
After recording this video, I had found out that there are more Stacking Tins coming out in March, I mentioned on this video I wasn't too sure, just want to point it out for everyone 👍🏽
Wartortle Masterball! 😃
hey cool video, what do you think about the mewtwo promo SVP 052? is it a good investment?
@@likorp24 Definitely a good card to have for a long term investment 👍🏽 I will try and find myself one as well for this series 😁
@@Hustlémon alright thank you! very cool :D
Great video man, just a QQ. Do you think £130 for a surging sparks booster box is a good deal?
@@amritbanga8196 I have had a look at UK wholesalers they still have SS products available for purchase on 'pre-order' meaning a print is dropping in, source MuddleIT, and that includes Booster Boxes. So could drop in price once PE takes the spotlight, but, that's speculative. You would never go wrong if your objective is long term investment paying at RRP or close to RRP price. But if you just want to open some packs, Amazon has reduced Surging Sparks triple blisters to £11, so if you work it out £11 x 12 = £132 you will get 36 packs and 12 promos alongside that. It makes more sense to do that 👍🏽
@ thanks for the advice man. I will keep that in mind. Will definitely look out for the vending machine if I’m ever up Huddersfield way!
Bradford boy myself i often get the bus to Gemini Games great store for Pokemon cards and got a few cards from there Raw at a good price that have come back 10s

Hi, I have just started watching people open packs, are you getting the prismatic evolution packs ? I have seen them advertised for the 17th at smyths toy shop
@@cityblue0202 I will be doing my best and going to my local Smyth's to see if I can get one at RRP. Smyth's Inventory from their online website to what they stock in individual stores is separate, so stores will be allocated PE's ETB on release date 👍🏽 I imagine given the current trend, there will be a few scalpers about on that day as well. I doubt Smyth will do anything to prevent it, but, we all have to wait and see 😶
Gemini is great, the owner did Patriot games in Sheffield but we also had one in Huddersfield, he then moved onto IQ games down by the market but it shut around the pandemic, I only just realised they open as Gemini a month or two ago
@@Dabrodders I didn't know that they had a Patriot Games temporarily in Hudds. I know there is one in Leeds, but, it's not part of Patriot Games in Sheffield. They are two separate businesses. Either way, there are a lot of TCG stores for me to explore in Yorkshire 😆😁

Cheers bro 🙌🏽🥳
Glad you made it to Gemini. Great team there and they are fair with their prices and trade ins. They have loads of organised binders full of cards too. Highly recommended for anyone who is into Pokemon (and other card and model games too!)

When I take card payments on my stall my fees are 2p for every £1 taken, the 75p flat fee is way to much
Yeah, I don't even know what debit provider charges 75p. Think it's likely an international card. My Shopify store charges me a flat fee of 15p and that covers a huge range of debit/credit cards as well 😶
Ebay trash I sold a card for $2200 and got back $1700 with fees and promotions. Do not sell on it
Its mercaris fault
The key point for sellers is that they won't pay out till the item is confirmed delivered. To do this cards will have to be sent by tracked post rather than just second class taking postage costs for a single card from £0.85 to £2.70. There is also the several day delay in getting your money as well. This is not going to be good for the single card market.
100% not going to be great for cheap single card market. I imagine most people will adapt to sell a bundle of 5/6 cheap cards in a single listing to entice buyers. But, it does mean more admin work sellers who have to be create with their advertising and pictures. I will personally start with a bundle of cheap EX's listing cards in sets or Pokémon types, like fire, water, etc.
Ebay is ass, pretty much everyone in Europe has already stopped using it. Cardmarket/direct sellers has and always will be the way forward
Thanks for sharing this info I had no idea this was going down !
An imaginary “buyer protection” fee.
@@P.. You have to admit, it's a clever marketing name for 'ebay's fee' 😆
13.25% fee here in USA 🤦♂️not including promotion
@@Delirium420 Cheers for letting me know. I have others from the USA complaining that we had it much easier, but, have pointed out several key differences. I imagine in the USA a business they would also need to pay taxes on top of their profits, but, wondering if Ebay's fees can be used as an operation cost, because in the UK it can 👍🏽
gotta sell more and Top Rated Seller. Easy after that
@infamous159 facts 🙌thanks for commenting but that’s easier said then done!
So sell it on the street for 20 ponds it does not hurt me hurts u u might have to get a joblmao
@@johnstelling1031 I think you missed the point on this video. It doesn't impact myself, but, the consumers who use eBay to buy cheap stuff, not just TCG products. I as a business seller have always been subjected to fees, this new process is for 'private sellers'.
Make us pay 50/50 if they can swing 100 both ways 😂 as a seller now I can’t sell cards lower price under £5 now because they will not have interest having to pay almost 20%
@@JamesDinis-s2k Yes, it will definitely have a impact on selling EX/V and some cheap IRs singles on the market, I think they will take the biggest impact. I imagine most sellers will adapt to offer a 'bundle order' on these cards, like a mixture of 5 of these cheap cards to compensate for this.
Sweden has an ebay called Tradera, 5% extra fee optional, to get buyer protection
this totally Fcks the little guy, the private seller selling 99p reverses free ship, 2 quid playsets, free ship. we'll be listing the cards for 99p or 2 quid, but the seller sees a higher price, and they won't click the listing! why would they? when a business seller's listing will still say 99p for that reverse :(
Cardmarket blows eBay out of the water on user cost once these fees are added
and when you pick cards from the same seller they automatically go through to one order instead of paying separately for post like eBay, user experience is not even close
Its because ebay taxes like 20 percent i sold a evolving skies box on there for 625 and only got 450 after taxes then i month later i bought more boxew for 650 lol 😆 selling on ebay is badd
@@Exposedpokeymon Are you based in the UK? Because eBay has never charged 20% fees to sellers, both private and businsss sellers 👀 The max charge they have ever implied is 12.8%+30p to private sellers.
USA for ebay absolutely stinks. Moved away from them over a year ago and glad I did. Ebay is such a scam
eBay is garbage, I hate their fees. I try my best not to sell there!
@@Jaycox420 It's the 2nd biggest e-commerce marketplace. So for many people including myself, it's difficult to avoid eBay, especially as a business, given the traffic it has. Amazon does not enable private sellers to list items, you have to be a business, so for many eBay is place to go. Although competition like Vinted, FB Marketplace, etc are crawling in some good traffic as well 🙂
Sell on fanatics collect there is no seller fees. Buyer pays fees and the seller and buyer is happy. As a seller you will make alot more over that junk site called ebay. Ofc it's for slabs not necessarily singles.
Still waiting for the price dip. 😢
For what product? I covered Shrouded Fable and Stellar Crown on this video. I even uploaded a video showcasing that Shrouded Fable ETB dropped to £30 and even £28 on The Card Vault on Black Friday.
I just hope they dont start holding the money like vinted. Vinted has no protection for sellers. Buyers can blag anything and they just keep your money
ebay is the same, ALWAYS take a video of packaging your cards, from sticking the label on to throwing the card in and sealing the glue strip with a 360 of the envelope. keeping all the post office drop off receipts as well (or video of you throwing the envelope in the RM box down the road) had a buyer open a claim it hasn't arrived, i had the RM receipt that i showed ebay and they sided with me, then the buyer (same one) claimed, well it did arrive but there was nothing inside. i showed ebay support the video of me packaging the order, and they basically told the buyer to get lost 😅 if i didn't have any of that proof i'd be £7 out of pocket on this one scammer buyer
They stopped American Express on Ebay a while ago
Bro yall are lucky ta only have that. Stop with tha BS. We've got it so much worst in the US
@@DizZzyPullz_TCG It's much cheaper to get Pokémon cards in the USA in comparison to the UK. We have to pay more for packs and products on average, let alone the fact that the average American has more disposable income than their UK counterparts. Also it's not BS, it's relevant news to people in the UK who use eBay. So why is it much worse in the US?
Much agreed I sold a evolving skies box for 650 only got 430 after fees bro selling on ebay cuts your wealth in thirds
my brother in christ... you have TCG Player. the closest thing we have to that is Cardmarket and it's a right mess of international sellers and high fees. 99% of the listings don't even have a photo of the bloody card
I knew it was too good to be true when they removed selling fees. They were obviously switching towards vinteds model
@@02danhaz Yeah, it was obvious it was coming in, they were just updating their services and systems. It was clever, whilst they did that they Heavily advertised across TVs, Social Media, etc. There was an eBay advert everywhere to promote their free selling services, got to admit it was clever marketing and strategy 👍🏽
It was nice couple of months while it lasted haha
@@PrT0xic It didn't make a difference for business sellers, still had to pay fees. But, I did manage to sell unwanted stuff and some Poke cards as a private seller as well, which was helpful 🙂
This is actually a great feature from ebay. Cardmarket has already been making buyers pay the fee instead of the seller. Good job ebay 👍
this will keep card shows alive which is awesome, 4% is nothing much really if you compare it to the 13% seller fee ebay had previously
I reckon card shows will be about for awhile either way. I do think it will kill the marker for cheap EX/V cards, as you average person won't want to pay initially more than double the value for a £1 card. I agree with the 4% not being much in comparison to what sellers had to pay beforehand. But, for buyers who were not aware of eBay's fees beforehand may be put off by this change. Either way, multi card purchases from the same vendor will be the way forward to save money 👍🏽
@@Hustlémon but that £1 V, will come up as £1.79 card in the search results, so when the buyer sorts by price, the private seller's listing will not only be waayyy at the bottom under the business seller ones, it will also be "marked up" (by ebay) uncompetitively :(
Scam scam scam just look at the review for 365games
Between this and not paying out until items are marked as delivered its going to kill cheap singles.
@@matthew-182 Yeah, I could still pick up some cheap IR's atm for £2 on eBay. But, that will be changing unfortunately 😓
"oh you want to buy these 99p reverses? that'll be £2 tracked 48 postage" ☺
So it is essentially like Vinted? Another way to make money from us!
@@joshpkmn Essentially yes, but, in terms of making money from us, I cover the point on the 2nd topic. There is a possibility that some private sellers, maybe, those who know the system before all the new recent changes might adjust their prices accordingly to accommodate these changes and would understand the 'seller fee' is now replaced with the 'buyer fee' 👍🏽 However, I strongly believe eBay will profit much better with this system, putting on my thinking hat 🎩 they would use this 'buyers protection fee' as a tax write off, and describe it as an 'operation cost' rather than a income.
@@Hustlémon Yes, I agree. My use of 'us' was for both the seller and buyer. Either way the lovely people at ebay get something. I don't think it will prevent me from buying on ebay though!
@@joshpkmn Ah cheers for clearing that up. Same as myself, it's not going to stop me using them, but, I do hope they do offer buyers discount fee on certain occasions. I didn't touch on this part on my video, but, I remembered after recording eBay has a new payment system called 'ebay balance' and in fact, also has there very own electronic payment services, so that makes me question 75p flat fee even more 🤔
i buy and sell on ebay instead of vinted for this exact reason. only this reason. i guess ebay doesn't want our custom anymore as this makes ebay uncompetitive and frankly, worse, than vinted. what will happen is. 1. every cheap cards seller will migrate to vinted 2. ebay will be FLOODED with support messages of the "where me money?" kind. no one's shipping a £2 card tracked, no one's buying a £2 card with tracked sipping, 85p 2nd class is the norm. and no buyer is gonna spend the time leaving feedback on every single cheap card they get, to confirm delivery of untracked
@@alexnicolaou3579 I agree, I only buy on vinted if it is a 'bigger' card for cheaper than ebay or if the seller has a load of cards that I want. Ebay is my go to for cheaper singles.
Vinted bloody awful 👍 unfortunately had problems with them
@@SweatDogg30 I will be honest, fortunately I not had an issue with Vinted so far, however, I was going to make a video on a help guide on buying Pokémon on Vinted, because it's not as well polished as eBay. eBay's card grading system really does help take the edge 👍🏽
@ yeah it’s when they add on protection fee and inflated postage prices
how is that a 6.5?? looks like a minimum 8+
There are tiny white edges on the corners of the card, and with a card of this darkness it is very difficult to see any surface bleeds/scratches. But, tbh it is the best 6 graded card I have ever seen! 😆😅
you are awesome brother - Fabulous communicator - Keep up the videos I love them - I recently opened up 3 packs after many many years not having any...looking to find a place in Yorkshire to get some cool packs :) all the best! thanks again - loved this!
@@ELEV8EMPOWERMENT Cheers for the support there bro and welcome back to the hobby 🙌🏽 Hope you managed to pick up find a good set, there's a couple of good spots in Sheffield, Leeds and Huddersfield that I know of, but, even I need to branch out to the wider region, see where the year takes me 😅😁

Thinking of getting a prismatic evolutions etb for £70, you think that’s worth it?
@coomgoblin5145 Depends what your intentions are behind the purchase. At £70, yes it is steep, but, long term investment like I always state 20-25 years, it will see a return even at £70, given the fact it's the first English print with the holographic pokeballs on the cards. If you are a Trainer, No, just buy singles. Collector, again but singles, let the hype set aside and get them on 2nd hand markets. Quick Flipper, you will have to make a good judgement, like the PC ETB it was selling on eBay on Pre-Orders for £90 which was selling, but, has now shot up to £120. There is a lot of hype on the set, it looks like it will be a 151 all over again. I discussed this in a previous video 'Investment Tips for 2025' - I will personally be heading to Smyths on release date, as Smyths inventory is separate on their website/in-store. But, I can imagine there will be a queue, so first come first service basis. Hope this helps 👍🏽
@ i know it’s steep, but i do plan on keeping this long term. Besides i’ve decided too late clearly 😭 as all ETBs are £65-70 for this set now
@coomgoblin5145 Are you specifically collecting ETBs or can you not get another Prismatic Evolution dealer product, because HMV, Mankind, Smyths, etc will have those upon launch and they will increase in the long game too 👍🏽
@ Ive been keeping my eye on smyths, they’re selling a £14 3 pack with eeveelution promos, might buy one of those too
Smyths have some preorders open
Cool video!
@@dolfo3 Thanks bud 😎
Everyone is a sealed product investor until they open up some good packs haha great video man
@@kingofkows9777 Hahaha 🤣😅 I have had enough failures on this channel to remind me to stay on track 😆 But, there will be 100% more pack opening vids for the love of this channel 😁
Do you think the Pokémon TCG Crown Zenith Mini Tin featuring Sonia & Yamper is getting a reprint in 6-8 months? I can buy it on Amazon right now, but the estimated shipping time is that long is 6-8 months (from the pokemon shop on Amazon). Could this be due to a planned reprint or just delays from high demand?
@@Muhammad75645 Are you specially after the Mini Tins or the Crown Zenith packs overall? I'll be honest, I have not heard anything about the Mini Tins reprints. The only news on the mini tins that has been going around is 151 has made re-appearances recently at Waitrose and Sports Direct just before Christmas. 6-8 months sounds abit too far out for a pre-order, I have never heard Pokémon Center taking orders in that far in advance 😶
@@Muhammad75645 Yeah, I wouldn't bank on it. Seems like it's very likely a mishap on their inventory data than a sign of a reprint. I suppose there's no harm in ordering it and seeing what happens, it's only £9 so worth sitting on, and in 7 months you can just get a refund back from Amazon easily enough 👍🏽
@@Hustlémongood point thank you ❤
I pre-ordered prismatic evolution poster box at amazon iam not to keen on boxes on this item but wouldn't complain this set is crazy
@@mrhoneybobo7115 Yeah I feel like this is going to be a 151 all over again. Even Pre-Orders have been swooped up and not just P.E's ETB 😶
cancel it and get it from smyths I've got mine from there i think that 365 is a scam
Great video again, I have just purchased the trapoghus box from magic madhouse following this
Nice one 👍🏽 if you haven't done so already, you could use my referral code to get £2 off your order. You keeping it sealed or letting it rip? 😎
@ I’ll be keeping it sealed, started my collection about a week ago, I have a nice selection so far of all sealed products, ETGs, Booster boxes, and a mix of EX boxes. I’m Collecting the singles too from your other series which I’m just going to put away
@@Ricquay Ah nice one, you seem to have built quite alot in a short timeframe 😆 sealed products will always do better than singles, but, for the fun of collecting and enjoying what you are building, it's a nice to have a personal investment binder 🙂 Good luck with your collection 👍🏽
@ yea I have brought quite a bit over the past week, I’m enjoying it, I just need to think of a way now to display some of it 😂
I notice you didn't cover tins - what is your take on those? What's rrp for them and how much under to buy?
@@redpixl3663 I presume you mean the standard Tins with 4 packs. You can get on multiple sites for around £15, like Chaos Cards, Zatu Games, Magic Madhouse, etc 👍🏽
@@Hustlémon so I imagine around 18 euros is good? I'm not in the UK but I see that tins tend to have the most valuable packs while also staying in stock the longest. Consistently finding evolving skies in them ;)
@@redpixl3663 There are still Tyranitar V Tins and Empoleon V Tins that are about on some e-commerce stores which contains XY Steam Siege Pack in it, but, tbh there is nothing valuable in that set. I am not sure on European Prices, but, I presume if measure it to UK prices then a 30% off RRP will be a good long to purchase 🙂
@@Hustlémon Yeah steam siege has some nice cards to collect but is terrible for investing since it's not popular. Mainly just trying to target some packs I want without overpaying like crazy haha
@@redpixl3663 Well in the UK Steam Seige sells on eBay for £10 for the single pack. I got the Tyranitar Tin V and Empoleon for £28 on Black Friday, so the return on that was great for me. I got it from a site called Zatu Games, and I can see they sell to EU as well - www.board-game.co.uk/product/pokemon-tcg-v-strikers-tin-tyranitar-v-empoleon-v-2-set/?currency=EUR - Anyways hope this help. Other Tins I'll be looking out for is the Legendary Birds with the 4 Crown Zenith in them 🔥⚡❄️
