Giant Yorkie Jasmine Vol. 6: Almost 6 Years Old - Second TPLO Surgery
Less than 8 months after the TPLO surgery of Jasmine's right back leg, she started limping again, needing another TPLO surgery for her left back leg this time. This is about before and after her second TPLO surgery.

Giant Yorkie Jasmine Vol. 4: One to Two Years Old

We adapted a yorkie puppy and named her Jasmine back in August, 2018. She got bigger as she grew up and this is the 4th video of her to be posted. She currently weighs 18 lbs!!!! She is always our world and we continue to love her with all of our hearts.

Why is the tail docked ?lovely dog as i have similar 14 yrs and in good health,but so cruel to cut part of its tail off,very sad ,also selfish . Pp
When we got her as a puppy, her tail was already cut short by we dunno who, which is so cruel and unnecessary 💦
My giant silky terrier had the same problem but got better on its own with physiotherapy! Your poor baby!
It is so good to hear your dog got better without the operation. It must have been so painful to watch and frustrating, too 😭
Awww wee dab. My yorkie had a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) for something called Legg-Calve-Perthes. She wasn't even 1 year old at the time. She's a giant yorkie as well, she weighs about 7kg (15.4lbs) She's fine now but does get a bad back because one leg is longer than the other because of her operation. She had the operation 6 years ago now.

That looks like a Silky terrier
Hi! I thought my Sam is big - 10 pounds, 19 months & still growing!!
That is not a Yorkshire Terrier but an Australian Silky terrier. Silkies are larger than Yorkies with proportionally longer legs. Note the slightly longer muzzle which doesn't have as much mustache hair on it's sides. Silkies and Australian terriers were used to breed the smaller, more delicate Yorkie. They are all great dogs....enjoy.
our Harley just passed away at 18 looks like jasmine. we miss and love him forever. He was 16 pounds.

Awww broke my heart seeing her walking in pain 😢 but eelieved to see her walking better now. Mummy & Daddy 心配だったでしょう。

I think I may have her nephew. My baby just kept on getting bigger and bigger. I thought, “surely, something is wrong😮. “ I had DNA testing done, and it turns out he’s 💯% Yorkshire Terrier. 😂 I love him.

I actually would prefer a larger Yorkie. I've owned one 7lbs Yorkie who lived to be over 20 with no health problems. I was not so lucky with my next 9lbs Yorkie who developed cancer and lived to be 13 years old. I will be looking for another Yorkie after a little more bereavement time.

Hello. Which DNA test did you use? I have a Yorkie that is supposed to be a purebreed. I was questioning the breed because he is 9 months @ 18 pounds.
We used Wisdom Health!!! Since we gave no info of our dog when she took the test, I believe the test was pretty accurate. Big yorkies might be more common than we think. I bet yours is adorable, too!!!
I am going to try that test. Yes, he is adorable. His doctor stated that he looks like he is mixed with a schnauzer. The breeder claims they don’t own a schnauzer and his parents are registered with the AKC. We love him dearly. Just curious!😊

Hi Aria, we did the DNA test on her and it turned out she was 88% yorkie and 12% Stanford shire bull terrier :) Maybe she got the gene of her great great grandparent when it comes to her size 😂 She’s two now and weighs 18 lbs!!!
Yep probably went the same breeder, my yorkie is 3lbs at 2 months.
