After replacing the stator , my tachometer is now giving false reading, it's reading 6-7-8 k starting and running, any ideas on the cause ?

Hey guys great video. I have a question because I can't manually start my scooter anymore either that I have 7500 miles on it. And I'm thinking about replacing the spark plugs the coil then I guess that's about it for now. The question I need to find out about is how do I know that the motor for the starter isn't bad? Should I just purchase the coil and hope for the best because I don't really know the functions between the two. Should I just go ahead and purchase both to be on the safe side?

Let me guess...you took the carburetor apart and scrubbed it, right? Carb cleaner is probably what you did by putting it in the gas. Half truths from dealers. Nothing to clean in there.... but check the float level and spray carb cleaner in the jet and port hole. No big deal. Well ... for morons it would be. :-)

Here's the problem with something said in the video.... A stator and pick up button are used to create an electrical charge. And together they make it with the use of magnetic field. So the rust and dirt on the coil pick ups don't really have anything to do with the fact that the stator isn't making fire. It's the copper wire winding and dielectric breaking down inside each of the stator coils.

Got a ludix blaster 50cc... Bought for cheap of friend few mouths back not been used since day I got it looking to get it back on the road but the battery is dead!! Got one coming from ebay in 12 days!!! So was wondering if I can start the scooter with dead the battery to see if there's anymore repairs needing done? Am I able to kick start with no battery??

these people are telling you to have a mechanic change out tge stator ......it's so simple and easy to do it is a do it yourself job don't listen to these boneheads you can do it by yourself

Sure this is a do-it-yourself project, if you want to learn how to repair your own bike. And with instructions and video like this, its not too big a challenge to handle. But we need to know the proper troubleshooting techniques to make sure this is the problem which has to be addressed, and not replace parts that are still good.

I have a 2014 SYM Jet 50 Evo. I have bought 2 brand new batteries. It worked well the first day and then it wont work. It struggles to turn on and sometimes it just doesn't turn on. Could this be the problem?

so the bigger one is like a 12 coil but it would fit with the flywheel correct.the 1i have will run for maybe about 10-15 minutes it seems after it gets warm and then I told I won't be able to start I have to wait another 10-15 minutes before it starts again and the whole process keeps repeating.
