The 1988 version of God Mars did get its own opening sequence, even though, like most OVA openings, it does not really show the redesigned Gaia and God Mars robots.

Here's a 5 minute version of Flandre Scarlet's theme from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, the first Touhou game for Windows. For such a popular character, it's surprising that Flandre has only appeared in one whole-numbered Touhou Game. At least she's still making appearances in spin-offs occasionally (unlike Mima).

Here's a roughly 5 minute long version of Eternal Shrine Maiden, the song from the first stage of the first Touhou Project game. This certainly was a great way to introduce people to the wonders of Touhou music. It's a shame it hasn't been used since.

This is the opening theme of the 1987 mecha anime OVA Makyo Gaiden Le Deus. The song, Midnight Shout by Midori Karashima, is excellent, but the visuals used are just the worst. The footage is taken from the Japanese version of the OVA and does not have a part cut out like in the subbed version.

Best use of this was still W, mostly because it was used to wipe out the Galra Empire. Legendary Defender wouldn't have sucked so bad if its final battle involved Gekiganger 3 powering up a bunch of giant robot pilots.

ナデシコ作中で、ゲキ・ガンガーの作中ではナデシコが劇中劇という描写があったし、 最近スパロボで多いパラレルワールドからの転移でゲキ・ガンガーがやってきてナデシコと共闘とか面白そうなんやけどなぁ
