ProVaultNW - She Needs a Bigger Pole
This is one thing I hate about pole vaulting. In one video from a platform the ahtlete is basically has his arms in the same position but that is bad but that is what we have progressed to in this video
Sir mujhe training ke liye kaha aana hoga bataiye please sir Pol vaulter ke liye
It’s caused by not swinging take off leg straight at take off. Not by head movement. The athlete on the right tucks his leg at take off, if you swing the leg you get more energy into the vault, if you lower the drive knee you keep center of gravity low and are able to grip higher.
How do we solve this bucket problem? I have been it too...Please help me with this.
I'm having this problem with one of my vaulters. I see the problem, but I didn't hear you say how to stop this. From your video, both vaulters are "cantilevered" on the pole, but I'm not hearing what adjustments should be made with the vaulter on the right. Any thoughts?
Is there a table to what your 2nd to last step should be based your height? He is 6’0” and his 2nd to last left is 24. What would some who is 5’10 be?
At about 1:29 in the video, the vaulter on the left starts to “roll around” the right of the pole. Why is that? How is that corrected?
what does the throw arc drill work on?
how far apart is the take off cone and slide box cone>>??
what is the name of the song?!
très belle musique
Pretty cool McKane!
Haha ouchh...not about that life!
I'm not sure whether to like this or dislike this!
Listen, if you guys are trying to teach this model, Bubka in Malmo ? Come on...this is it. This is how it's done people. Watch it. Learn it. Be it. I say, "right on my brother" God Bless (nice vids)
absolutely astounding video, looking forward olympics this summer to get my vault fix in!
You made it look enjoyable! :)
@ 4:15 you can really see that lower arm collapse to get a huge pre-stretch. Too many athletes (and coaches) think you need to block
Loved watching this
@ProVaultNW I agree that it is hard sometimes to prevent landing on your feet. I've found , however; that landing with your feet close together yields a significantly smaller risk of ankle injury than landing with them separated.
The first drill I mean, sorry
Be careful about landing on your feet on this drill, I've sprained my ankle twice doing this drill...
Good Drills
btw you don't extend your hips, that will make you flag out. you are supposed to hold your legs and drop your chest. I know it sounds like the same thing but it makes a significant difference
His is not from Russia, if you say from soviet union I dont mind but when you are writing where he is from exactly just be honest:)
Best Bubka video, and therefore best pole vault video.
