Really? He is the most pathetic lecturer I've ever seen in my life
Thanks to LASSP for inviting me to give this talk! At 30:53 Chao-Ming asked whether or not both reflection symmetries were necessary to restrict the quartic terms to what's seen in the action. After double checking, only the two translational symmetries and the rotational symmetry are necessary to generate these quartic terms. Breaking either reflection symmetry will have no effect on the action until sixth order.
Thanks for asking all those questions Eun-Ah Kim! The presentation wasn't really clear before you get those points clarified.
