I did my first solo in 1980 in a single piston engine with tail wheel twin seater . For taxing one had to move in a zig zag pattern. The aircraft was prone to getting into swing on touch down and we had to be extra careful. Those were very exiting times

If we are honest, we can only afford this "hobby flying" because we are very rich. That has to be said. I have many friends who cannot afford this wonderful hobby. But I always take some of them with me to fly!
