Becoming a mission force - begins by recognizing God as King and giving Him absolute praise - 2 Cor 5:14-15. We owe God our lives. V2. Becoming a mission force - recognizes that the honor of God is the front, center and end of everything we do. - The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. - Honor God at all times and in all circumstances. - I will extol, bless, praise God - Honor God with your body. V3. Becoming a mission force - Recognizes the unfathomable greatness, majesty and power of God! - It is not right to withhold to honor God. - Matthew 15:8. - God’s agenda comes first. - Success is being in the center of God’s will. - We are mere servants, no room for ego - Romans 12.1 - Luke 7:47 V4. Sharing my takeaway notes 📝 Serving in Christ. Colossians 4:2-6 1. Gather & Pray. - Lordship of Jesus is something you pursue and not forced to you. - We need to speak the Gospel. Faith comes from hearing, hearing the Word of God. 2. Walk wisely and speak graciously. - V5-6. - Our behavior. - We are the salt of the earth that preserves (make good and better, not worse). - We can be a herald, a story-teller or a witness. Mind : Set - Things of the earth are temporal and leads to destruction. 3. Similar when Jesus called him to be a fisher of man. - Fishing. - No catch. * Jesus was revealed to the disciples and eventually they recognized Him. V4-5. - It is difficult to recognize Jesus when we are in the midst of futility, sinning & failure. - Jesus called them “children..” (calls us) - Jesus enables us to admit our place of sin, and still invites us to obey Him. (instruction) - Jesus did a miracle of bountiful catch (miracle) John recognized Jesus. * Jesus restored Peter. - We are important to God. - God restores us to Himself. (Relationship). - Reinstates our purpose. (feed my lamb - small portion of the flock, tend my sheep - flock, feed my sheep). 1. Sense of futility in life. * Elijah courageously stood for God even though felt he was alone. - Faith is challenged by the situation around you. - Daniel 11:32. - Faithfulness despite despair. * What did God do over Elijah’s situation and despair? 1. God sent a “care package.” 2. Meet with God.

V25. - We do not lose our salvation even we sin after being a christian. - The Lord delivers us, saves us, and makes us whole / complete in Him. - Jesus’ salvation has no boundaries and is permanent, continues forever. * Jesus as our high priest is v26. - holy - separated from sinners - intercedes for us to the Father (atoning sacrifice) God bless ☺️

Predisposition about sin. - God forgives all. * In the Law: - Leviticus means ‘Law’ - Day of Atonement was declared. - Atonement means • to cover (as God covered Adam & Eve with animal skin after the fall) • to stand in between; a shielding material (something that receives the wrath instead of the person, like the sacrificial goat) • to purge away (whatever is covered is taken away, like the escape-goat) * In the Prophets: - Isaiah 6:1-7. • Holy, holy, holy! The Omniscient became flesh. - We can understand God, He is know-able. We can know how would Be react with children, in a storm, III. The Omnipotent became flesh. - Jesus gave us the example how to live life.

It means that He is the only suitable sacrifice to redeem us. - Jesus is fully divine. He is able to save us all. - Mary’s womb is like the “Holy of hollies” 1. The prophesy about the Virgin birth is fulfilled. * God with us means we have access to God right where we are at this very moment. 2. All Messianic prophecies were fulfilled. * 48 prophecies specific to the Messiah and Jesus fulfilled each of them. - Luke 24:44. - Micah 5:2. Born in Bethlehem - Psalm 55. Betrayed. - Zechariah 11. 30’pieces of silver * Nothing is impossible with God. God bless ☺️

We were washed, sanctified and justified. * By the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, Christians enjoy God’s Presence & fellowship. - The Holy Spirit can be present but not pre-eminent, cam be resident but nit president. - Indwelling: never leaves us nor forsakes us (God’s Presence, new identity that we belong to God) * By being filled with Holy Spirit, Christians are divinely empowered for witness & ministry. - Infilling: obeying the Holy Spirit, intimate relationship. (God’s power, Fruit, Gifts) - Luke 4:14 - John 7:38~39. Living water will flow through us - John 20:21~22. Jesus breathed to the disciples the Holy Spirit. (Indwelling) - Acts 1:8.
