It was a pleasure sitting down with Corey and discussing his mental health journey and rehabilitation process following two consecutive knee reconstructions. His story is one of perseverance and resilience, and his wisdom is clearly of a person well beyond his years.
Corey opened up about the challenges of not being able to do something that comprised of such a large part of his life, and the constant balance between trying to retain optimism of his return to football with the pain of recovering from a significant knee injury.
