Thandai ice cream | Thandai Powder Recipe | Holi Special Thandai Mix Recipe | Instant Thandai Masala
Thandai Ice-Cream using homemade Thandai Mix Powder !!!
Holi is incomplete without Thandai. Thandai is a Traditional, Refreshing Drink made using nuts and spices, which is apt for Summers and is consumed during the festival of Holi. While Thandai is a very popular drink, Thandai Ice-Cream, made using the homemade Thandai Mix Powder is a game changer. IF you have never tasted Thandai flavoured Ice-Cream before, I urge you to try this extremely easy Recipe. Its Rich in flavours- Nuts, Saffron, Cardamom, Rose petals and a couple of spices. You will be amazed how delightfully yummy it is. Its a No-Churn IceCream and just requires you to blend in Mixer jar. The Thandai Masala is equally easy to make and you can store it in a glass container and Refrigerate it.
P.S. You can also simply Prepare a Chilled Thandai Drink using this instant thandai mix. Just take one glass of Milk, add 1-2 tsp Thandai Powder Mix, Some Sugar, Ice Cubes and Blend in mixer. Your Refreshing Thandai Drink is Ready.
Ingredients:
Thandai Powder:
1. Almonds- 1/4 cup
2. Cashews- 1/4 cup
3. Pista- 1/4 cup
4. Poppy seeds/khuskhus - 2 tbsp
5. Fennel - 2 tbsp
6. Dried Rose Petals- 2 tbsp
7. Melon seeds - 2 tbsp (optional, I have skipped in the recipe)
8. Cardamom- 7-8 pods (only seeds)
9. Black pepper- 1 tsp
10. Nutmeg powder- 1 tsp
11. Kesar- 5-6 strands
For Ice Cream:
1. Fresh Cream - 500 ml
2. Condensed Milk- 200 ml or bit more if you are on the sweeter side
3. Milk- 2 tbsp
4. Kesar- 4-5 strands
5. Thandai Powder- 3 tbsp
