I don't understand how come one card is not enough! How does a card fail, are people buying cheap cards?! Is the card usage somehow different than microSD card? I have never had a microSD card failure in my life.

Hello! I have a canon R8 and when I take pics with my kit lens, when I download the photos they have a black round border. How can I fix this? :(

A few more outside low light samples would've been great... with some zoomed in view for noise and details checking at low light...

zoom makes terrible products. I have the H6 in a box with accessories. Used maybe 6 times. I needed it this week. The entire plastic coating was dissolved and the H6 stuck to my fingers like honey. The device is unusable and also unsellable like this. Worthless and as good as not and never used. A great shame. And if you send a message to Zoom-Europe you don't even get a reply. NEVER BUY A ZOOM

Less than a year ago, I bought the R7 after having seen this video and I have no regret at all. I also got the Sigma 18-35 lens and I love it! It’s not a very wide angle lens on an APSC sensor (29 to 56 mm equivalent on Canon), but for landscape photography, for instance, I could shoot a panorama with it and stitch the images afterwards. Because that lens is sharp, the resulting photo could be great if I compose properly. Panoramas are also a great way to add more pixels and emulate a full frame sensor (to some extent) as long as you can use a tripod.

Unless you’re doing cinema, R7 should be more than capable IMO

Hey! Dumb question but is the audio recording onto a SD card or so? I’m an audio noob and am not understanding where the mic hooked to the zoom is ending up 😅

The buzzing that occurs is because you are not using balanced cables. And this was also confirmed by the clip from the beginning where you can briefly see when you plug the cable into the monitor, then it is not the balanced cable. Many active monitors require a balanced cable. It must be XLR or the 6.3mm cable,the kind you use in the video clip, but it must have another ring in between, i.e. three fields, like a stereo cable..I had this issue, wanted to return them back,and the seller explained it to me. Did that and buzzing is since gone.
