This is very helpful advice, I could relate to pretty much the entire set. It's hard to let go of the past, especially where's a sense of longing or regret. I know, I know, it's far too late to even think about that, but it combines with an anxious future to feel overwhelming at times. My brain doesn't seem to be helping at the moment. The message for me, I believe, is to focus on the present, focus on my creative work, focus on trying to improve finances. Romance is out, that's not going to happen now, probably forever. But that's a key worry on my part. I really need to learn to accept some hard truths where love and romance are concerned. I should focus on what I can control or influence and just make peace with everything else. But it's hard and it's lonely. Whatever. Life goes on and I'd like to stay alive for another 40 years, so we just need to focus attention where it can do the most good. I don't like the idea of being stuck or trapped in one place. It feels like I've been doing that for ages, but that's probably true for most people, especially at middle age. I will state for the record that I feel better than I did five years ago, and it does feel like I've been slowly awakening from a 25-year coma. If I could gain at least a little success on the creative front, that would help a lot. Again, very helpful video that gave me much to think about and contemplate. Thank you very much, it's greatly appreciated.
