I'm not sure if its only me, but the first time I glitched to guarma I saved immediately when getting there. And whilst I was trying to get the snakes I would create new saves each time I'd get a new animal in the compendium. But accidentaly one time I loaded one of the saves and landed back at the main map. So the second time I time I didn't reload any saves and everytime I wanted to reload spawns I just got myself killed by the sniper or falling from high enough. When I finished I created a save in guarma and loaded and completely skipped trying to glitch back out of guarma and ultimately landed back on the main map. I hope this helps someone because I'm not sure if this only worked for me!

How much luck have you have spawning hammerhead sharks? I only got one to spawn once vs a couple dozen tiger sharks and probably over a thousand green sea turtles instead. Regret not getting video capture. Spent a ridiculous amount of hours over several months trying to get the hammerhead to spawn. Seems like it has a very low percent chance and uses same possible spawn as more likely tiger shark and more likely turtle.

Seriously cool footage and journey. I never had that specific glitch with the canoe in the water with that specific funky wave shenanigans. Always cool to see something new happen and the game provides.

I had so many issues getting back, the first time I glitched into Guarma. I couldn't find the route I used to get there and had to swim back. Usually can't and take that other invisible bridge that eventually goes under the water, forcing you to swim for maybe 14 minutes going due north. Only reason I didn't drown was giving stolen donkey a metric fuckton of horse meth and I used the same way most of the times I glitched in and out of there. Wish I was wiser about screen capturing gameplay back when I started this game. Key thing is just checking until the thermometer/clock/location block at screen top says you are no longer in Guarma and are at the river south of Saint Denis or, if you head back another direction, maybe New Austin. If you save after changeover in location data and reload save, you wake up from a nap and are on dry land in main map. As long as you bring a shitload of special horse stimulant and special bitters/miracle tonic(for good measure, bring oregano big game meat and golden horse meal too), you can get back across the infinite looking ocean with sky-trees, even if you miss the invisible bridges.

Any advice how to get out of Guarma when playing John on epilogue?

You, sir, are a fish. It's may, 2023, and it works. Get to Guarma through Manteca Falls to catch a few snakes and a bird and was stuck in there. You saved me.

I did it all on foot. Got killed as soon as I hit the field with the armed guards. I was totally expecting to respawn back on the other map, thankfully I didn’t.

Ok. There is a much easier way to get back to the mainland. Simply replay one of the story missions. When you complete it you should be back.

Using the hookshot/longshot to get over the sand river reminds me of a link to the past. When you hookshot that tree at the other side of the river

6:18 my horse didn’t follow and I fell in the water here and drowned… i was hoping to start over from Bacchus point, where I saved. But upon loading the state, of course both horses were at Bacchus. That was kind of sour
