Hi Rachael Thank you for those tips! I saw that you're working with Windows which has its loads of challenges with ASIO. When I pick a sound in the Splice desktop app, it won't play cause Cubase has the the priority wth the ASIO, I need to click back on Cubase and then only I can hear the sample played back thus breaking my work flow while switching sounds in Splice without interrupting Cubase. What is your set up ? Making this possible for a true workflow while explorings sounds ? Thank you and greetings from Montreal !

It is funny you should mention the movie “ Sylvi”s Love “ , when I saw that I was expecting a different movie, but what I saw was probably so rare with black actors and actresses, lol which said it was a really sweet love stories and I was waiting the whole movie for someone to get shot or the usual portrayal, but no, just really great heartwarming story. I thought back then “ this is actually so rare to see a movie about African Americans in this type of film.” I hope we see more!

Neither mastered the Patois, but Ben did a good job Mimicking Bob. Lashana who actually has Jamaican parents did a poor almost stereotypical accent, until she did the important moments in the movie, in those moments she sounded better.
