Alway in the top of the world. I love this band. I love to NAOKO. I love Shonen Knife. I love the song explosion, is muy favorite song. Its a New find is a excellent song too. Saw Naoko, Atsuko and Risa last night in Los Angeles. They were amazing! Hadn't seen them since 1998 (when Atsuko was on the OTHER side of the drums). They really rocked the house!

@lajolla200 You haven't heard Shonen Knife play until you have heard Naoko on her Marshall. Incredible tone live! Let's hope she has it on the 2011 tour. After all, the real Ramones played on real Marshall. :-)
In 2006 Ritsuko was a Fill in bass Player For Shonen Knife. Hatsue and Tomoko filled in the summer of 2007 until she was hired full time after her Denki candy Project had finished.
Something about that song Giant Kitty, gets my motor reved up every time I hear it. I think I like Ritsuko's Denki Candy look in this video better than her current look.....but maybe I just need to get a life.

Ritsuko had to learn to play bass to join Shonen Knife. This performance was only her fourth time on stage playing bass. She’s utterly fearless here.
