Maybe the ending of the beginning… The closure of an act…
Our character will keep going, it has a whole life ahead of him, and we will be the ones to stay behind this time. We need to let him go. Detach from the purpose it gave us and look within ourselves to find something that will make us whole once more. A hole needs to be filled, and the fire... rekindled.

After some years I start to suspect that humans are somehow a lot more inclined to overcomplicate and distort everything then to just accept it as it is. Don’t touch it! Tomás, I literally stopped dead in my tracks as I listened to this. It was like I was holding my breath for four and a half minutes. The intricate sounds (including the whales) definitely added a dreamlike, magical quality with the strings just relentlessly tugging on my emotions. For me it felt like those moments when you meet something/someone with such beauty and you just don't want that experience to end...a prolonged suspension of disbelief. Exquisitely painful.
