I have noticed a bit more wacky art in their advertisements/website event splashes and such over time and my spidey senses are tingling a bit. the DEI page on their website goes to 404 forbidden at this moment but I was able to find it on waybackmachine. I hope my spidey senses don't tingle much going forward - signed a humble 2013 backer that just wants to play the video game with space ships and lasers and stuff

You can also bed log in space, but you must be outside the gravity well of any moons/planets (i.e high enough to use QT). If you are too close, the logout option will be greyed out, and there will be a "ship not landed" message under it.

New player here, I just exit the game through the menu 😅 Edit: what are your specs? I got a 7600x3D and 7600 XT 16GB. My 7600x3D runs at 90-100% if I play at 2K, if I set ut to 2,5-3K the cpu load drops but my gpu gets hammered to 90‐100% instead. Fps varies between 50-100. Tried 4K with FSR performance but my GPU said I'm tired boss 😂 Maybe I should try a 60 fps limit..

Never have luck with bed logging while on a planet. I either fall though the planet when I log back in or I'm in the sun

Load a container onto your ship with all the essentials for survival. Include ammunition, medical pens, a medical gun, additional weapons, an extra tractor beam, spare gear, and anything else necessary to avoid returning to a station or city.

I logged out of Star Citizen once Never logged back in again. What a glaring example of anti-consumer and unethical financial fraud.

As of 3.24.3 - Do not log out on a planet surface. You have a chance of logging back inside the planet and when you try to fly out, your ship will explode. bedlog out of orbit. It's safer.

On my account, I can't access the menu wheel and log out option if I don't remove my body armor. It's maybe a bug with panoramic resolutions.

Is bed logging fairly reliable these days? I came back for IAE but hadn't played in about two years. Best logging rarely worked back then.

I’ve found that putting the plastic bottles into a wastebasket or recycling container causes them to clear out in a day. I’ve spent (and enjoyed) so many hours cleaning up after Star Citizen’s top lefters. The robes can be sold for ammo money.

I loved mining when it was new and simple. Then CIG added 50 useless mining heads that don’t have any explanation or description of stats for comparison, and added mining gadgets that I never bothered with. Too much garbage to chew up too many hours of valuable time that could otherwise be spent gaming.

CIG really gets the sound right on everything. Those explosions would be less epic if not for the incredible sound.

Is there still a hole in the geometry in front of the pilots seat? If you crouch and move in front of the pilots seat onto the window, you’ll fall to the ground. Entire ship needs a rework to gold standard IMHO.

i beg to god that star citizen and squadron 42 arent going super woke. i have my limits of how much woke i can tolerate, dragon age veilguard, dustborn, suicide squad, unkown 9 awakening...are types of woke i cant handle...

Just look at the emote reactions under any "pride month" post on Spectrum, people are really sick of it. Yet instead of looking at the signs and thinking about it they just delete every comment that goes against the cult doctrine. They already removed sex in the character editor and use woke dogwhistles like "representation" and "inclusion". Doesn't help that Jared Huckaby unironically has pronouns in his bio on Twitter and even corrected a developer in the show who was using the generic masculinum in the sense of "Hey, women can be captains too!" I fear that the corruption goes deep in CIG and the project may be cooked. And there is something wrong with being woke since it itself is by design an extremist ideology, I would give you the definition but it get's deleted by UA-cam.

"Going woke" will definitely hurt it depending on the amounts it gets and it's definitely getting at least some based on the developers. It might not survive Master Modes but the two of them combined can definitely kill the project.

The good thing is that CIG doesn't have to meet any DEI guidelines to get sponsors. The only danger comes from some woke developers and since almost everything is supposedly approved by Chris Roberts and he doesn't necessarily give the impression of being particularly woke, I think (hope) wokeness will be limited.

SC already feel like it's going woke with the character creator they gave us, I like to make my characters to look like me, im a busty woman, so I want a slider for that thats not like the Dragon Age Veilguard sliders... full customization is needed to cater to everyone.

I think I'm more concerned with Star Citizen as a sandbox game being "age limited". In other words that CIG might forget that the game was produced on the backs of adults... not children. As such, though there may be an entire system "Sol or Terra perhaps" that are so completely governed that they are safe for children... that there are equally those systems that are most definitely adult in nature. Those areas are, by necessity, going to have to contain sex, drugs, organized crime and other abhorrent behavior such as slavery, genetic engineering and space NAZIs. If it doesn't then the game isn't going to feel "real" and engaging. It also won't be the game we all funded... if it doesn't include these elements.

Well, we don't have male and female characters, we have type 1's and type 2's and both can wear lipstick and beards at the same time. The ship combat lead developer never makes an appearance without wearing his flag. The lore in the Galactapedia and maps and new integrations into the star map and Mobi glass iirc are partly maintained by a transgender woman that has been on their shows a couple times in the last year. It sounds like that ship has already sailed for you. I would be more worried about having Mark Hamil as the co-star of the game atm given his recent online feuding with fans and virtue signaling on X so he can still get work in Hollyweird after biting DIsney's hand over the last jedi. Him and CR are friends and I almost though about making a post or a concierge ticket asking CR to go calm down his boy Mark before he tanks his game too lol. I do not worry about a class action suit because some have already tried and was rejected by the courts for no merit. They also tried to get the state of California, who loves fining 'evil greedy companies' for money because they are broke, investigated and found nothing they could fine or bust them on and blocked eligibility for class actions suits there too (Thanks Kamala Harris). The EU consumer affairs got complaints SC was a scam and investigated then only made CIG put that button we have to click to play or buy anything acknowledging a statement we are playing a work in progress and own nothing when we 'buy' a ship. California is about to pass a similar law doing that for all video games, DLC, and skins. Last year CIG wanted to look for investments for marketing advertisement money for SQ42. Because of investment laws in the UK the government made them turn over their corporate records, HR records, and financial records for audit to get a license to seek VC money there. The UK govt makes those decisions public so investors and banks can evaluate them and know the risks. The audit report said they had a proper business plan and demonstrated a tangible product, evidence of responsible social and corporate governance, and clean financial bookkeeping aka no scams or fraud. The only thing CIG is really guilty of is biting off more than they could chew and learning by trial and error as they go on how to manage a studio and project of this scale. Their mistakes are not from a place of malice, but blindness by their own passions, especially CRs. They have a marketing team that could sell snow cones to penguins standing in a blizzard which means they are doing their job well.

If you are worried about "woke" or are upset about DEI you are a looser. Figure your shit out and quit crying that other people that exist.

this is an interesting one, no doubt it is terribly received by this very copium filled community though, it's always "How can you say such conspiracies, you're silly it will never happen" but then when it happens those same mfers are dumbfounded and before you know it the game is dead, I do hope they're not dumb enough to go woke when they "seemingly" don't use the Blackrock/ESG money however I was also starting to notice a lot of signs in the more recent trailers, let's hope they're going for the Deadpool kind of approach to inclusion and not the "usual" approach

what specifically do you qualify as "Woke"? Larian had the ability to make fully formed characters of whatever sex or interpretation and Baldur's Gate was one of the best selling games to come out in the last 2 years.
