It was a fun one for sure! The early game was a bit rough but I tried reading my opponent and to me I thought making the obvious play would have had him predict the not obvious play. 50/50's like usual. Super close end game. My fezzy lived a non banded glide and pecha lived a non band high horse (the banded high horse was a roll)

I definitely feel the same way about our battle. If I didn't sack giri and sacked torn instead game could have been different for sure. U 100% played super well and I can't ever discredit that from you. It was so so close. Our playoffs match. Shift gear wouldn't have made a difference as I prepped for that harder than banded tox. Chi yu without the hp investment would have died to that sludge wave (which might have helped as da horse wouldn't have taken as much chip)

Glad I won my least favorite matchup in the league. Phew Phew. I definitely missplayed the early game but I clawed back and that's what matters!

His team has a lot of offense and urshifu while being really good can be exploited easily without the right defensive backbone. His Hoopa has an easily exploitable u turn weakness and bear is really good but it's his only defensive Mon that isn't exploitable (but without av is very weak to special moves)

The fact that he didn't bring Skeledirge shows alot. Maybe heavy duty boots would have helped if they were ran out Delphox but I wanted to outspeed everything. Actually now looking back at it meowscarada is the only fast thing on his team so maybe with a few defense ev's I would survive knock off and Terra fairy on meowscarada when he doesn't expect it. Yeah it definitely was not the best thing to worry about speed in this fight
