Babyproofing the House: Top of Stair Gate (Wall One Side Steel Rail the Other)
Needed a gate that would close off our staircase to little Madeline and this was a great option. Installation of a swinging gate with one side attached to drywall and the other to the steel rail. Drywall attached via screw in drywall anchors and drilling and tapping on the steel rail. Enjoy!

Attic Clean Up - Kitchen Exhaust Hood Build Series - Part 1
Переглядів 232 місяці тому
Like all good projects this one starts with a side project. Getting the attic cleaned up enough so that I can get some work done up there without fear of falling through the ceiling or battling a flock of wolf spiders. For the new kitchen exhaust hood to be useful I have to run new ductwork because the old hood was never connected to anything. Enjoy!

Very cool project man, I'm also doing something similar for my side house as a walk way. No weed barrier or any gravel base? Will the stones shift over time?

Thank you and good luck!! No gravel base needed, I would suggest getting all the grass clear underneath first though. A weed barrier isn’t necessary but if I did it over again I think I’d use one just because it wouldn’t hurt. And the “stones” settle very little in within a couple days of being placed and then have stayed impressively firm and level across each other. You can put a sand on top that locks in the joints but I haven’t tried that yet
