I really enjoyed the message and how all was connected to the read scripture and songs. Jim & Shirley (my cousins), I wish we lived closer, as my heart filled with love as I was able to watch the service on line! I belong to a mega church her in Texas, but I have missed the smaller church, the hymns, and hearing a message about what is happening in our world today. Gram (Ruby) was a huge influence in my life growing up and I relate so much more to her generation, along with the cousins on both the Holm & Erickson sides. Great message and LOVE how it’s so related to our world right now. ❤🙏🏼♥️✝️❤️

Pastor, could it be that the test is actually FOR us....to show us whether we trust or not, rather than for God to know. He already knows! 🙂

Re: John 8:31-47. The Jews who said they have never been slave to anyone were currently under Roman occupation. They had been under captive of Assyrians, Babylon, others. Particularly, their ancestors were slaves in Egypt.

I like Peggi Kriegbaum's bible verse. God doesn't have favorites even though people do, because in the eyes of God everyone is unique and special in every way. This is why I know with God there is no competition with anyone just be the best I can be than I was yesterday. Amen.
