McQueen's missing farther figure 🐊

The King of Cool & Jacqueline Bisset in 'Bullit' was tremendous.. And if anyone didn't recognize the final scene in ' Heat' ( in the Airpor tfield') with Al Pachino & Rob de Niro was pretty much a lift or a coincidence from 'Bullit' well now u know.

What an unbelievable couple. He was the man.

Chad told of a conversation he had with his Dad! Shortly before his death while he was racked with pain Chad why are you going through this pain & all these unusual procedures? McQueen told his son, “to say here for you & your sister for as long as I can!”. Now that’s a DAD!!!

Some hollywoods speak badly of McQueen, note only after his death I believe. James Garner for one. I was raise that if you can speak good of someone then don't say anything at all. And never speak bad of the dead. Always one of my favorite. Golden age of hollywood for sure.

Perhaps he loved dogs because they loved him for himself, not his money, or frame. Not what he could do for them. They saw what was really inside him. An abused child, scared, & defensive. Childhoods make who the adult is.

It looks like to me,he was genuinely more happy & content with his Dog ( or someone else's) most likely more so than with his fellow humans.. McQueen came from the streets, was in reform school& the Military & fought his way up& was very distrustful of people ( some of it valid& others perhaps not? But in the film Business he was most likely right) So having a K9 around was a lot less stressful & more enjoyable for him..imo

Late sixties. Once I knew Steve McQueen had a Triumph TT Special I HAD to have one. So I saved up and got one . White with red stripes ! Now IF ONLY i had kept it ! Lee Remick . What a Gal !!❤🤗

Imposible con 73 años no tenerlo siempre presente !. Un actor con estilo. Comencé a verlo de joven en su serie Randall, el justiciero, con su carabina recortada. La Fuga. Quien lo va a olvidar arriba del formidable Mustang en esa persecución feroz en Bullit. Ví todas sus películas y las suelo repetir. Sus perros son su viva imagen !. Crazy that they died about a year apart, Wayne in 1979 and McQueen in 1980.
