Why they didnt make a Remaster of this game like they did for Halo 1&2?

I grew up playing this through out all my years … I played with my buddies and had the most fun in my life… but I gradually seen them go away and away … and was when I stopped but still listen to the music … life is real mean and cold.. but memories will always remain… love you halo bro

I remember the pain of having to switch over to the campaign disc when my friends wanted to play co-op only to have to switch back to the mythic disc to play custom games like an hour later.

As a kid I didn’t even turn my Xbox off at night i just let the music play all night, I miss those days halo 3 is truly special, if only we knew where gaming was going too bad we couldn’t have it this way forever

My Sony trinitron. Playing OG xbox. Halo CE, Halo 2. LAN with friends! I have so many memories that are shown to me every day. Halo 3/ODST and REACH BABY!!!! am lucky to have had experience it. My friends. Keep those physical games sacred people. Charish them. When we get older, those gems will tell the story just by having the copy in hand. I believe everyone now and before knows how i feel on this. We all share it. Never forget. Finish the fight and Always remember....

I always loved the little dots resembling players on the world map on Matchmaking.

I miss the good ole days playing halo 3 on the 360 with boys the custom games like Jenga or the matchmaking making players rage everything was so simple back then

It’s sad the way the gaming industry has fallen there is no incentive for companies to make a game like halo 3 again when they can put out half finished products and micro transactions and make just as much money. The idiot consumer who preorders games and buys micro transactions have caused the downfall of gaming.

After halo 3 mythic was released they did it to Halo reach and I am not kidding about that

These days was actually really good days.

Out of all video game music, the original halo series is the most iconic, the most recognized, and the most loved.

brings all the emotions remembering these times. my grandma used to watch me play this, she was really into sci-fi and she would always tell me how she enjoyed watching me play it. once i got into multiplayer i played in my own little corner so i could talk to people online and yell and curse, made some good friends. now its all memories, those friends and i grew apart and i lost my grandma last year. blessed to have the memories.

I will never be able to go back, man, I wish I could have just one day again. Talk to my old friends, see my cat, walk the streets I grew up on. Those were good years, I have different things to be grateful for now though. It's ok, I'll be alright. My life isn't over and I gain more to be happy about with each passing day. Thank you, for the memories you gave, the experiences I had, the friends I talked to, the games I played. This is a part of my life now, forgotten memories, and I suppose, someday, a long time from now, maybe I'll remember again.

I remember hearing this menu music for the first time like it was just yesterday. Still sooooo good. I got my 360 in 2008 and ODST was the first time I got to experience a brand new Halo drop, so much nostalgia. Can’t believe it was 13 years ago now. I still think I have more play time in Halo 3 than any other game to this day

I remember when mythic map pack first dropped. Between this and the ODST campaign being a highlight of my teenager years.

my high school graduation gift was a 360 and a copy of Halo 3. it was one of the best summers i ever experienced. a conclusion to a journey i started with halo all the way back in 2001. what a journey.
