I watched this whole episode thinking Coach Beard was goinh to die... the next episode is the funeral one and I saw it in the list and was like oh shit.

This episode is a close 2nd behind the Amsterdam episode for my favorites in the series. Everything about it is great from the bar fans hanging with beard and then getting into the stadium, to this beautiful finish. I love that the pundits who have been doggin him the entire time are at the club and they just give each other a nod to say “hey man, it’s just business. We cool.”

I admit I didn’t like this episode the first time around but it really grew on me with subsequent viewings. Brendan Hunt is an underutilized actor and I hope Ted Lasso gives him opportunities to do more 👍

Creo que conecté con varios personajes de esta serie. Hubo momentos que me hizo reir a carcajadas y a veces me hizo llorar. Pero este momento... Me hizo feliz. Fue como Ulises tratando de volver a casa después de la batalla y ver que todo estaba en su contra. Y al final una luz (muchas luces de esperanza) cuando Coach Bear empezó a bailar me sentí muy feliz

This episode was such a gem. I was so frustrated the whole time. I had no idea why it was made, and then by the end I realized it was one of my favorites. When the heat drops, oof! 😊

I remember my parents going out one night and my Mom suggested I watch this movie if I was still up: I will NEVER forget this movie; it created my little boy gayness!! Yeah Stella Stevens, Rosalind Russell, Mary Wickes!!

I absolutely love this song. It takes me back to the first time I heard it back in 1978 in Las Vegas. I don’t remember the name of the casino but they had a place for us underage kids to go and play games and watch movies while the grown ups gambled. They were showing this movie and I fell in love with it, Where Angels Go Trouble Follows. And I still rewatch it every time it comes on. Good times, thanks for the memories.❤

Ah...Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart. The would later join ranks with Monkees Davy Jones and Mickey Dolenz to form Dolenz, Jones, Boyce and Hart and record and tour. I saw them at Disneyland in Anaheim decades ago. Peter Tork joined them as a guest. It was fantastic.

This is one of my favorite scenes in any TV show. I can't watch it without dancing along and smiling. Such a great show

I'm currently going through the tale end of what has been by FAR and above, the absolute worst year of my life, I'm caught between think the night out I need is either this, or the biker bar scene in Terminator 2, they're running 50/50.

My favorite part of this scene is the sign that says, "Go to chapel sometime... Father Chase gets lonely." !
