Thanks - I'll pass that on to the rightful recipient.... Here's a little secret - the player is Scott Sharrard, who is currently fronting Little Feat. I'm the voice in the background asking dumb questions. I asked him to show me this song, and he's a huge Prince fan. The other breakdown videos I've posted for myself are also Scott. Why do you call the C# over B shape a sus4 shape? Thanks
It's also known as C#11 and/or B/C#. 11 and 4 are the same note.
It does resolve to the root of F major. Once during the intro, after the diatonic descending chords which start on the four chord of B-flat major, and then again during the outro, beginning on the phrase “Right now”. NEVER post inaccurate information again. Are we clear?
