there's another similar shortcut that works with 2 powered clubs. just max power it at the start to the position where you're about 1/2 tiles BEFORE the wheel (it should land on the far right side), then aim at the wheel gap on the left with max power and you'll land on the other side.

There's another 3 hit finish I've seen people doing, they hit the ball down towards and next to the windmill, hit the ball on to the rotating windmill itself and it ricochet's down to the lower level (hard to explain easy to show, but if you played Pine Forest enough you'll know what I'm talking about)

LOL. i have a better 3 HIT method. Works 90% of the time and works with any strike power level 1. Just aim for that T section of the wood in front of you with maximum power 2. Aim for the small curb edge of the wood ferry's wheel, needs timing tho 3. You will end up on the ground floor and aim your way to the hole

Sick. Had to adjust for a 4 power club but it works.

Its actually regularly possible in 4 if you hit the detour hole on your second shot

I can confirm it does not work with 2 power
