Best $75 at Goodwill I've ever spent :)
No idea what the full history of this small layout is but it was found at the local Goodwill in a shipping crate, with a Sountraxx shipping label stuck on the lid if the purple trim it features wasn't enough. How it ended up out of their hands or in the store to begin with must be a fascinating story. Featured in the video are pieces of Blackstone, brass, or kit-built models I own and some visiting equipment from friends. It's in mostly good shape, I had to fix a lot of broken scenery and figure out how the thing was wired/replace the NCE board. Some of the scenery on the edge of the two modules are a little damaged or warn but otherwise, it's pretty nice. If you've seen this before or have any more info feel free to contact me or leave a comment.

On October 22nd 2022, the D&S Ran their annual Fall Photography special. This time however, they mounted 1 of the 3 remaining faux diamond stacks on K-28 No. 476 and repainted it as well as the entire consist back into D&RGW Flying Grande and Circus Lettering.

Here's a flashback to August 2020, when Trains Magazine hosted a special photoshoot with recently restored RGS 20. This was a video I initially pumped out for youtube shortly after filming the event, but I wasn't happy with a number of different things with it so I decided to make a new one featuring more info and corrections, plus some other aspects of the video that put me off previously.

On December 22nd 2020, a few friends and I went to go chase one of these daily doubleheaders we heard the D&SNG was doing. Coal-fired K-36 #482 was the day's helper locomotive while Oil-fired K-37 #493 was the road engine.

Very neat, ridden by there countless times but never got to visit it on an operating day.
Love the F scale trains. The ones that you're showing have the wild west feel, as well as the kid in a candy store vibe.
