Lets see if 35" tires fit on my stock 2006 dodge ram 3500
Переглядів 120 тис.8 років тому
Installing 35" tires on a stock 2006 dodge ram 3500 mega cab with stock rims. (315/70 r17)
305 is perfect fit for stock.. what i ran before my 8" lift. With 2 inch level in front. But you could throw a 2.5" level kit up front on stock height abs 35s will clear.
You give away nice caps. Superb review of the cap. 5.11 rules.
9:38 the beast aka my.dad's grand wagoneer
You did see it
Did you see a rusty 1987 jeep grand wagoneer on june 2nd? If you did that's my dad's jeep
Ive fit a 35x12.50r17 on the stock 17x8 dodge wheels before
Not recommended. A 315 should be on a 10" wide wheel bare minimum for safety reasons and best ride and wear.
Thnx a Lot for the Review !
I inherited a Dodge Ram 2500 year 2005 with same stock 17x8 rims, it had the 35 x 12.5 Goodyear tires on it when I got it (they say minimum 8.5 rim also) it has worked fine for years, zero issues, I then replaced with 35x12.5 Toyo's that call for minimum 8.5 rim also and they work great as well, no rub.
I got 35s on my mega cab w just a leveling kit.
Where can I get one?
I got mine at la police gear. I think tg supply also has them
A 12.5 wide tire will absolutely fit on an 8 inch wheel. People do it all the time.
Very nice camo!
A 305/70/17 would be perfect
But they don't look as good. I ran those before these.
@@180propertyservices9 did you have any problems with them? I have a 2011 stock height 2500. I’m wanting 305/70’s or 285/75’s
@@ericestep9880 I don't remember any rubbing at all
Where is part 2?
S I rub just a little close to full lock turning right only. Any offset would solve that 100 percent
Takes me forever to do anything to my truck, but after seeing this video my mind has been made! Thank you for a great video! The comparison shot really shows the difference. I was debating the up size for ages. I run 285's now.
Spacers are more dangerous than rim width
Agree, id never put spacers on my vehicles. Especially a truck that may be pulling loads and going off road. No way. Should of got wheels with a positive offset.
That 1/2 " isn't gonna be a problem people are so afraid of shit ..probably city people
Thanks, for showing the cap. Its better than looking at a picture, would like to see companies place caps on a human head in their ads, in stead of a dummie head. Thanks again, i ordered one.
I’ve been searching for around 2 hours for a case for my iPad Pro. I was around 2 clicks away from buying this one and thought I’d check UA-cam, thanks you just saved me the heartache.
That was my jeep next to the other jeep that was by the blue jeep 👍good times
Sweet I will say hi next time I see you
I actually am the one who owns it 😜❤🐯
20:40 i know the people that own the tiger car
I've got em on my 2005. I think it has scrubbed only when the steering wheel is spun all the way, so no real problems.
Nice cap..but I wish 5.11 wouldn't have colorful logos on their tactical hats..not a huge deal but it misses the point..they should have any logos subdued..
Just got a sub
Same
I was there today
hello good afternoon, I would like to know what is the minimum distance to the ground from the rear differential. thank you very much
Im still pretty new at the you tube thing. The vids will get better. Sorry meandog
EDIT YOUR VIDEO.
Great idea Harry!!!
I run 37x12.50s on my 06 mega cab no lift no trimming no spacers factory wheels
MEGACAB JUNKIE Bullshit!
Just use an extra back end Velcro patch!
Is this a 13 inch MacBook?
- offset rims will do better and look better then spacers will
I need those old tires for my durango lol
Hi Whats the Laptop you put in? Is it the new macbookpro 13" with the 4 usb c ?
I'm wondering the same. Let me know if you find out
Does r17 mean 17 inch rims cause I'm 16 andearning how to hpgrade my Chevy Silverado I need to know
Yes the r17 means 17 inch rims
They will rub slightly on full turn on upper control arm, but no biggie. You'll only hear/feel turning in a parking lot at full turn. Leveling kit will not stop the slight rubbing. Either get a wheel with slight less backspacing (6"bs is perfect) or upgrade the control arms that recess in. Like Carli or Thuren suspension control arms. I don't like spacers and just a band aid. I would just live with the slight rub.
noob video
sorry i didn't read, yea the leveling kit should do it by itself to clear the 35 inch tire.
true 35 inch tires are a bit wider so they probably will rub more. i would do offset rims and do 35s, 33 inch tires are the same width if we are talking 35x12.5 r17
180 Property Services do you know if 35x9.5R 17 will fit my stock rims on 2006 ram 1500 with some spacers
yes they rub only in very tight turns. i will do a level lift in the summer and see if that solves it. offset rims would solve it for sure but i don't want rims.
do the tires rub any
looks great! The wheel openings on a Dodge are so big they really need 35 to look right and I hate when guys do a huge lift over 35 because it once again looks ridiculous and the tires look small. the stance on yours is perfect. where is part 2 showing the finished product and your view on how it rides and drives now?
I got a 2004 2500, got stock rims with 265s. Just put a 2inch leveling kit in and now I need some bigger tires. Will 35's work or should I go 33s?
Deerslayer420 is your truck 2wd or 4wd?
4wd
Deerslayer420 a 2.5 leveling kit would be do it
Deerslayer420 35s, no question
what size spacers did you use
I love the video man. been look all over youtube and this is the only one I could find
