Adam Lisagor Likes Couches

Equal parts demo reel, gushing fan film, and cushioned furniture porn...well, let's just say it seems Adam has kind of a thing for couches. Notes: 1. Adam has made (a few) films without couches. They're also quite good. They're just not included here. 2. Please be sure to check out the sites mentioned. You'll be glad you did.

From "Homicide: Life On The Street", Season One, Episode Nine
We must never forget Paul Cook. His drumming screamed frustration, anger and attitude as a teen listening to this. This brings me straight back
1:13 yikes
Lydon’s vocals and Steve’s drones .. What ? More is there?
captain Sensible reckons Anarchy sounded like old man Steptoe warbling over a redundant Bad Company outtake
He can't take all the credit because Sid Vicious did a lot of the more technical stuff. Some great Sid riffs at the time.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those two producers really brought NMTB to life with all the overdubs and fills on Steve’s guitar
He never tucked his shirt in during the early days ?
nevermind the bollocks has one of the most amazing mixes in rock n roll history
still miss Glen's bass sound. Hear the demo of Pretty Vacant without the singing. . It is SO nice Steve's bass was very much more aggressive and nasty sounding and fit well with the songs thrust.
Snobs
here's the pistols !
Bill Price did an excellent job on recording and production.
beutiful
Some where an American hardcore fan is seething.
Would be nice to have a copy of those multitrack stems to play with
Steve Jones' guitar tone is pure perfection.
Wow this is REALLY cool!! It's amazing hearing the tracks straight from the tapes!
As a blossoming teen I thought his sound was so sexy, esp on Anarchy
The best band of all time... cos... no other band changed so many people.. hate or love.. And still going strong... Nothing Vacant about the Pistols... They changed our mindset..
What's the name of the programme?
where is that studio?
Someone must have the multi track tapes . Would love to hear them.
Steve tight with speed keep off the smack kiddies
See his picture hanging on your waaaaaaallllllaaahh!
RIP Bill Price.
Love the marching sound start of Holiday
The entire "Nevermind the Bollocks" album was beautifully mixed.
where is this clip from?
Tightest rythym guitarist. Not tightest lead guitarist !!
Best ever album ever made.First punk band.Nevermind The Bollocks completely shook the whole rock music scene, a new platform was formed with that band .The landscape of rock music was changed forever in the UK and really started off the Manchester music scene imparticular. No other album has excited me like that album did and The Sex Pistols only album will stand the test of time even after almost 50 years. To think it was almost never made because after being banned left right and centre from record companies because of obviously the expletives on the album cover aswell,Richard Branson of Virgin records signed them and he saved us all from absolute boredom.
Legendary and underrated...
Steve carried the record.
What a load of BS... Steve never recorded bass parts on Bollocks on guitar with octave divider.. and these guys shoulda know it would have sounded like utter crap.. it was a regular bass guitar, a P-bass would be my guess .. without Matlock´s beatles-ish overplaying.. but his Rick had a great sound anyway ;) listen to the Holidays demo
That is not what they said. Review the video. They said he played on bass something like his rhythm parts, only an octave lower.
@@cejannuzi Didnt sound like that .. and even so, he never just once copied ONLY the root of guitar chords on Bollocks... just listen. Anyway, I just listened to 2002 (and many more) SP shows with Glen... he played exactly in the same vein as Steve did on Bollocks - no embellishments, just the meat.. and it was perfect
The opening riff from "Holidays In the Sun" was "nicked" from a song rom The Jam called "In the City". Sid Vicious & Paul Weller had a scrap in the pub over it. Direct comparison of the two songs: ua-cam.com/video/VQBznorqclw/v-deo.html
Same descending chord sequence for sure, isn't there a clash song that has a similar riff?.
Not that I can think of 🤷🏻♂️@@mickymac6571
The performance on this album was a breathtaking embodiment of sheer magic, weaving a tapestry of enchantment that captivated every soul who listened to it.
Fun music for fun people.
Glen played some of the bass on "Anarchy" as that was largely pre-recorded whilst at EMI. But Steve Jones basically did everything, guitar-wise. CLASS
Glen played it all that other twat couldn't play 1 note in tune
Terrific clip. 👏👏
The best punk band ever!
The first and best THE STOOGES
When people say punk bands can't play, listen to bollocks
This album is pure explosion of energy.
And the most pissed off rock N roll ever burned into a tape machine...they meant business and re revolutionized rock N roll in the process !!!
Still have it. Still love it. Played Anarchy and Submission at times in bands. More recently I've taught myself Bodies and Pretty Vacant. Love both of those intros.
There’s a lot of Hawkwind in the Sex Pistols sound. There’s more psychedelic biker trash there than pub rock. The Jam played really fast and choppy, like Dr. Feelgood. There’s a live album of Sham 69, with Jimmy Pursey with Steve and Paul. Steve could play plenty fast, but Paul pulls everything down to Hawkwind speed. He was a great drummer, but not a speed merchant.
I always when i used to play before i had to sell my les paul due to arthritis in my fret hand, try to get my guitar to sound like Steve Jones guitar sound
Some wankers reckon its not Steve at all.. And that Chris Spedding played all the guitar parts... But they're cnts!
Mono deluxe
Johnny might do 2 takes and they'd be totally different, different notes, different phrasing, but they'd both sound right. A weird talent.
“He was behind the curtain playing, thanks for that” English sarcasm to boot.😎🏴☠️😎🏴☠️😎
Great mini doc about the making of one of the best rock albums ever made.
There's no way around it, and it will go up History lane like a noisy motley Fanfare. Nowadays we tend to see social engineering in everything, but if there was any here, it was only McLaren's ''situationist'' agenda. It's an album about real issues, it will prevail. 46 years and 9 months and counting...
Rumour has it Steve stole his first guitar 😂
They nicked all their gear!!
Fuckin epic album.
