East Asian people, the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, etc., have a history that, for the most part, has not been infused or distorted by Europeans. Prior to the Mongol Empire (led by Khubalai Khan), Ancient Europeans didn't interact much with East Asians or vice versa. Whether its the Tang or Zhou or Chinese dynasty, the European presence was either nonexistent or very distant. That protects Asian culture as well as Asian history. Unfortunately, with Africans, it's whole different story

I'am all for black folks having "knowledge of self". It's that I've run across so many blacks putting out debatable historical claims that will have to be sorted out. I'am referring to things such as the Sumerians and Olmecs being black,the Greeks stealing all their ideas from Egypt etc. Yes we need knowledge of self but it needs to be knowledge that's based on proven facts based on the research of historians and archeologist.

Im 16 and what the lady said is so true about not only educating yourself about who we were and are. But also its important how to survive in this world even tho it may contradict your view points or it could be against or nuetral to your viewpoint in life.I found myself really angry and depressed with this world. Coming across all this knowledge(power) and trying to edcuate my peers but to no avail most of the time. Then i gotta figure out what I have to do in life to survive.Its stressing.
