if theres no warning on dash i found my battery was in need of charge or replacement on a escape when steering went from power to standard fixed the problem had the abs and other lights on dash turned out to be rear wheel bearing

One question I do wanna ask as you. I notice in the video at the end, not really sure as far as electrical system on this vehicle but does on these vehicles the oil pressure goes up and down as you hit the gas? On most vehicles I know oil pressure should not move that much only to be steady unless you're at high RPM's I'm thinking but I'm not really sure if that makes sense that's the last question I have after it is fixed. No leftover codes after drive cycle

Question for you or for any other commenters: I did everything perfectly except I forgot to actually plug the torque sensor in before I turned the car on and tested it…now I’m left wondering, would it have worked if I had actually plugged it in to begin with?

I'm trying to DIY this. Will it work without the scan tool calibration? I'm afraid if I take it to the shop they will not calibrate it unless they do the whole repair.

Also I did this without the IDS software. Idk why the first install attempt went whack but the alignment position has to be perfect when you install this damn thing

For anyone who had the full right steering issue after installinga new part, I installed a brand new factory part and it did the full right bullshit so I reinstalled the old part because the new one would not calibrate, on everything I looked up they say to do a full steering column replacement if it does that. After sleepless nights I again reinstalled the new factory sensor which I re-keyed to position and for some odd reason after installing it the second time it calibrated properly. This design is very scary

I had this problem fixed by my mechanic, and it was a very difficult procedure. Question: Will this be permanently fixed? I am afraid that when I drive the car, it will suddenly freeze or turn to full left or right when I am driving, especially during high speeds.

Do you think this is the same as a 2001 Villager? My friend said hers overheats pretty fast and gets really hot like it starts boiling out, i told her it is PROBABLY the water pump and yeah might as well replace the thermostat too. This looks like a bitch though haha! I don't have a pulley "puller" so i probably can't do this, idk. If anyone reads this, let me know what you think. I mean what ELSE could it be to make it over heat so badly? She said the fan on the radiator works, (I think its a mechanical one anyways if I recall). Edit: water pump on ebay said for 99-02 so this is probably different, I have no idea, could be the same, I didn't look at it yet. Thanks for the video!! And thoughts let me know Thanks!!
