New community on Lethal difficulty is not for everyone that is for sure. But I already had two playthroughs on Lethal difficulty as experience before I started this one. And before I started Lethal difficulty I beat Nightmare difficulty at least 10 times so I have played a lot of State of Decay 2.

Zeds and ferals can climb up on certain things yes. Your own car that you drive they can't climb up on for example. While certain containers they are able to climb up on. I don't really climb up on stuff to get away from zombies or ferals so I'm not the best person to ask what stuff they can climb and what things they cannot climb up on. I guess you will learn as you test this more and more and get more experience with the game. I hope you enjoy your journey in this game!

@@BeardedGamerPlaysGames Yeah I got hit curveball and ended up right inside of a black plague heart territory, my car stop & things got really scary.

I focused on other things first. But I'm going to change car to get more space for looting.

I try to explain my actions and why I do certain stuff so it's easier to understand why I play the way I do. But sometimes I'm just so absorbed and focused on the game that I'm just playing and being quiet. Thanks for watching! 🙂

Grenades are really strong. I'm not 100% sure but I think you can craft them if you build an armory.

Earlier series I uploaded one video every day. And that was my intent with this series also. But then I simply got sick and playing was put on the backburner while I was resting to get well. I'm better now though and recorded a new episode today which I'm preparing in the video editor as I type this. When video editor is done I will upload it so it will be up tomorrow (tuesday). @@BeardedGamerPlaysGames Every Dane that I've encountered who spoke English (which seems to be the entire population) had an an accent that was clearly Scandinavian, but their accents were more muted than Swedes, Norwegians, or Icelanders. Well, which of those great nations is your home doesn't matter, I'm enjoying your content.

It's very good to loot plague hearts since there are so much resources in a defeated plague heart. So I strongly recommend that you loot them. For me it sometimes takes a while before I loot a plague heart. One of the reasons is that I want to do as much as possible during daytime when visibility is very good. So I usually don't loot plague hearts during daytime because I try to do so many other things while visibility is great. I see looting a plague heart as an "easy and not that dangerous" task so that is why I push it off and usually try to do that during the night when it's dark. Second reason is that I was under pressure from the "Out For Blood Plague Heart". I tried doing missions, looting as much as possible to make my community stronger, and taking out all the siege sites that popped up while I was away doing a mission or looting so I wouldn't get a siege. Looting the defeated plague hearts simply was low on my priority list. My focus was on getting stronger so that I eventually would be able to get rid of the "Out For Blood Plague Heart" so that I finally would be able to breath a little bit. And yeah I was kinda focused on the "Out For Blood Plague Heart" and probably forgot a little bit about looting the defeated plague heart also! 🤪

@@BeardedGamerPlaysGames Ah that makes a lot of sense! Was really wondering because this is the third that you defeated and didn't loot. In the past there used to be a nasty bug that made looting impossible after looting one. So I thought it might have been a habit from back then!

Same here. I don't play on Lethal difficulty when I want to relax though. I take one step down and play on nightmare difficulty and then just being chill by driving around and looting, maybe chase some bounties, always on the lookout for more survivors with good traits etc...

@BeardedGamerPlaysGames Yeah Lethal is crazy stressful. Right now I'm just trying to loot every single building in Drucker County because I've never fully searched an entire map, it's taking more time than I thought it would. 😋 I really hate that SOD 3 is so far away. I can't wait. 😱

Hello! I didn't know that when I started this SOD2 series. But a viewer pointed it out to me so now i know. It's just that I have over 1000+ hours in this game already. And I'm a human with strong habits so I'm really used to just running with the loot from the trunk of my car and then throw it into the locker. But since it saves a lot of time just sending stuff into the locker from the trunk of my car i'm TRYING!!!!! to unlearn my behavior of running with the loot from the trunk up to the locker to then deposit it! It's not until episode 10 in this series (or something like that) that I start using the "move from trunk directly into the locker" trick. Since I already had quite a lot of episodes already recorded when someone mentioned to me that you could use this neat trick to save a lot of time.

@@BeardedGamerPlaysGames ok I actually thought it was a trick or glitch of why you weren’t using but I haven’t gotten that far yet I recently picked the game back up I didn’t know they ramped up the difficulty so much I’m loving it so far and love the gameplay BTW can’t wait to watch when SOD3 comes out

Thank you for your praise! Yes triple feral packs on lethal difficulty are very dangerous since they do a lot of damage and build up your plague meter so fast. In hindsight I should just have recruited anyone so i could teach that survivor medicine. And then specialized that into pathology and work to max it out. Since maxed out pathology gives my whole community +50 extra plague resistance. For example in episode 25 while attacking plague hearts I almost died from the triple feral pack. If I didn't carry fire on my character I don't think he would have made it out alive.

@@BeardedGamerPlaysGames I don't like the ferrules. I think they are over powered at the hardest three levels. The even strike so repeatedly and quickly they can keep interrupting a character reloading their weapon unless they have quick reload ability. Happened to me with just one feral on Dread level. Snap Aim is needed or wait for them to charge straight at you. I usually play at the easiest two levels but I've tried Nightmare recently and only got to day 9. On Lethal I only got to day 2. I need more patience and a lot more practice ass it's. complicated game for managing all the resources and knowing how to wisely spend the influence points. Zombies suddenly appearing righting front of the car is ridiculous. I don't know why they do that as the bloaters can kill if character already near death. So it truly I a brilliant achievement to do this on Lethal form scratch. Yesterday with only two hearts togo I managed to get a seller with the grenade launcher that holds 12 rounds, needed that nearer the beginning. Thanks!

​@@pduffy421 Yes the ferals are hard on lethal difficulty. I have played several hundred of hours of this game though so I have quite a lot of experience with this game.

Yes it's a fun game. If you have a computer SOD2 is available on both Steam and Microsoft Windows Store. Microsoft also released Grounded, Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, and Sea of Thieves on Sonys Playstation platform. So who knows if Microsoft might release more of their games on Playstation.....

Thanks for the nice comment! Yeah I also really like State of Decay 2. It's a very unique game with zombies, managing a community, permanent death of characters, trying to survive during very though times, and good combat mechanics. I hope SOD3 is going to be great also! 😁

Yes I agree. It's very hard to do something in those areas if you have a very stealthy play style like I have.

I saw the bloater when I was running towards the plague heart. If I was smart I should have taken him out before I went in for the plague heart. I was not smart and it almost cost me being caught in the bloater gas 😰

Hahaha! Yeah I see that screamer desperately throwing himself over the railing just in time to not be squished by the back of my car 😛

I checked this video twice but I can't see that bloater lying in the bush, hahaha. Anyway I'm just glad the character survived!

Thanks! Yes I was quite happy myself with taking down that triple feral pack. I think I was only hit once by those ferals so by my standards it was a very clean encounter. And yeah I was very happy I brought the suppressed shotgun since you don't have to actually aim and hit the head of ferals with shotgun. It's enough to just aim in there general direction and then pull the trigger 😊

@@BeardedGamerPlaysGames it's simple, when car is parked at base and you open the trunk all items have a transfer to storage default is T but that counts for your own inventory as we as the vehicle.

Pretty sure that's the most recent patch where they adjusted darkness. I think it's meant to be optional with the next patch. Basically they made darkness brighter.

When I'm in my base in the room with the locker. The game is kinda dark and especially the characters back. I don't think it was like this before patch 37. They have tinkered with the lightning and stuff so nights will be a bit brighter so it's easier to see during the night. But this is a side effect that came with this patch. There are a couple of threads where people discuss about this recent change on the Steam forums for this game.

Yeah I didn't help him as there was a feral, juggernaut, and a horde of plague zombies attacking him. And since it was in the forest who knows what was lurking in the bushes all around him. I decided it was simply to risky to try to help Nich.
