    The Batman has far from compelling villians. And The Batman is not the best live action Batman movie. Batman 1989 and The Dark Knight are the best live action Batman movies.

    Ghost Protical was my first Mission Impossible movie and i loved it. Been enjoying each installment since then. Going back, i didn't hate Mission Impossible 2 but its definitely weird. Not a MI movie and more a John Woo action film.

    The effort put into these movies is very big.. Tom Cruise with his team are still making entertaining movies with perfection.. So we should all support them.

    Mission impossible scenes just feel real. It is kind of like the Fast and Furious stunts where it's just like that's neat but just not possible where mission impossible just feels like hunt is actually going through these fights / chases. Also same thing, my mom hates anything violent and will refuse to watch anything that has a fight scene but fucking LOVES mission impossible.

      You know. I agree. We watched MI: Fallout last night and we just kept talking about how real the stunts felt because they mostly are. Cruise has cracked the code on how to catch our attention

      It was good for me. But yeah apart from that bike jumping sequence and the train sequence in the end, we did not have any death defying stunts. And I am still not happy with ilsa's death. I think it had a huge expectation which it couldn't meet due to being part one of the story and due to Barbie and Oppenheimer releasing one week after this movie was released taking all of the imax. I still have hopes for final reckoning

    • @rishi.s3772

      Same but we do are seeing how this franchise is also becoming stale ..its not offering anything new anymore .. same time cruise doing stunts saving the world with face masks . And I think in the last movie only. Everyone got a bit bored with it

      @ryantsy 3 дні тому

      While dead reckoning is the weakest of the new set of the movies I don’t think it didn’t work. Saying that though, I’m hoping it’s more toned back style means that final reckoning is gonna be a full on movie because of it.

      @@ryantsyWell working or non working is a subjective one . For me it didn't work . Cause it became too dry with just stunts and stuff . There wasn't any emotions in the scenes at all something I felt a bit also in fallout

    I did not care much for the first or third, while completely avoiding the second. I even gave up on the fourth after 30 minutes, because I just felt the series had pivoted to being a bit goofy in tone. A subsequent full watch changed my entire perspective and I've enjoyed the franchise from that viewing onwards. The series became 'playful' instead of trying to be grounded or 'cool'. It's like a reverse crime caper adventure series, with the good guys employing many of the tactics and group dynamics of a heist team.

    There was also the "Death Race 2000" arcade video game! 2 drivers compete to run over pedestrians, which turn into gravestones when you hit them. I only ever saw ONE of these machines ever, in the arcade across the street from the short-lived BRIGANTINE PIER in Brigantine, NJ (not far from Atlantic City), where the "Brigantine Castle" haunted house attraction was for several years. I read the place burned to the ground... almost certainly a fire insurance scam. Why do so many "haunted house" attractions burn to the ground? I always felt the castle was great-- but was NOT ENOUGH on its own to sustain long-term or repeat tourism business. I knew that even the first time I went there. Had it been one attraction among a large number of amusement rides (on a pier in Atlantic City, for example) it might have survived longer.

    Rewatching the movie and my god I thought I found errors in Riddler plan but no it was covered through dialogues and visual, Matt Reeves literally wrote the movie to oblivion, I really couldn't find any dirt at all, like I was trying to say Batman should use the leaked images of corrupted people to locate Riddler's apartment, but that won't work since Riddler has 2 ID, Batman cant falsely accuse some guy, Gordon needs a warrant and more evidences in order to search the place, because it takes place in modern time, images could be photoshoped therefore its hard to connect the dots .Moreover, Batman actually discovered the orphanage kids, (the spray paint scene) that had an urge for Thomas wayne, but there are so many Riddlers/Orphans, Batman can't decide who's the real one, on top of that Riddler even use fake ID, Edward Nashton would flew over Batman head. What am I saying? The Riddler won in every way; this movie shows the best scenario of Batman losing, because if it were a different route, Batman wouldn't learn his lesson like JESUS. Reeves, you are insane.

    The Riddler in this movie further proves that Hollywood doesn’t understand internet culture as much as internet culture understands Hollywood. The current slate of DC projects are not very good or interesting movies. The Joker is little more than an amalgam of far superior Scorsese films. The Batman is little more than an amalgam of far superior Fincher films. The Penguin is little more than an amalgam of The Sopranos.

    Unpopular opinion- I didn’t like his character here. I feel like he was doing too much, when he started singing Ave Maria I was actively cringing. I don’t think the acting was bad per se, I just don’t think his dialogue and his character was written well. He wasn’t particularly menacing or entertaining, I get that he was doing a social outcast thing but it felt like he was just doing a weirder version of his character in Prisoners [2013] (great movie btw).

    Ok but my problem with this constant g1 wanking is that most fans nowadays have grown up with the bay films and the contemporary cartoons. You want to know why TF one failed? It’s because it relies on nostalgia for an 80’s show Thats extremely dated and that it’s fans have mostly moved on. No the reason why this film failed is because Paramount marketed it as a film for toddlers with those terrible trailers. It's a shame you've missed the mythology that Dr. Miller has created. It's kinda profound. In the late days of the apocalypse, the three major societies that have repopulated Australia are sharing their origin stories with us. The Great Northern Tribe. The Waiting Ones. (The peoples who repopulate Sydney) And the people of The Citidel. ... Disparate stories that share a common theme. One man had a pivotal role in their foundations. The trajectory of each was forever changed by an interaction with this mythical man, who entered their lives...and disappeared. ... Do these societies find each other? Do they learn that they all owe their existence to a distant encounter with a man called Max? ... This is the best franchise in cinema history.
