My son gets his first truck for Christmas! 1982 Chevy C10. We should have a lot of good times together in the shop over the next few years building this thing just how he wants it. I have always loved these Trucks. I owned a 83', 86' & 87'. About to buy a completely custom frame up restored 84' with a 383 & 4 Speed Muncie

I've got an 82 Gmc LS swapped. Its 2in drop spindles and 4in drop shackles. Perfect ride height in my opinion. I wouldn't go with big wheels if you plan on doing alot of driving. I had 20s on for two days and took em straight off. Mine has 16x10 EagleAlloys and 295/50 265/50r16 bfgs. Yours looks perfect the way it is. Drop it 2/4 and roll with it. Make more content man. I can get you more subscribers. 15 to 20 min videos. The Squarebody video you should have broke it down into 20min segments. There was 4or5 vids. People's attention spans are short. Hope your Boy enjoys that Truck 😎 also you've got a community tab. Use it and post pictures of the truck and other stuff. Its kinda like Facebook in a way. Helps the algorithms

Like the look of your oldschool eagle alloys..👍The squarebody video should have been shorter for sure…a lot shorter.🤦♂️ Not real familiar w this UA-cam stuff. Going to try and post some more videos soon.

Those o square body models were produced from 1973 through 1991, except the regular cab pickups "half tons & three quarter tons only" were done in 1987. The one ton regular cab pickups on the other hand were still in production up through 1989.

Love square body trucks! I have one myself! After watching this video I feel like I should get bigger rims, they look so good on these trucks. I have Foose nitrous; want to get a bigger size!
Agreed. I have always been a fan of bigger wheels but then again, it is hard to go wrong w a clean square. From 15” rallys to 26s, I like them all! Got my son one for Xmas and still trying to figure out what size/look to go with.
If this does not get you inspired to work on your truck ,I don’t know what will! Nice looking trucks!

The headlamp bezels & grille came off of an 85 - 87 model & the front bumper & front blinker lenses came off of an 83 - 87 model. The steering wheel came off of an 89 - 91 Suburban, Blazer, or crew cab pickup.
