So I woke up to this wonderful surprise of a package, sent by none other than BANDAI!...Uh, probably! Also... I know i said this 2 years ago but the nerf is to his birth power level not the power he gained from years of fighting thats my only big hang up on this.
You nerfed his birth power level. He never fought hard to get that strong. Nerfing it for the what it makes no sense.

Wouldn’t cell wish to have the perfect fight or victory due to his ego and attitude about him being the perfect-life form?
Isn't Cells goal to like bring chaos and be the like monster in the shadows not to destroy earth I thought the only reason he might want to do that was because he was getting angry at Gohan and was trying to kill him with Max Power which would have resulted possibly in the destruction of the planet. Which is also a question but I guess if I give it to Dokkan then maybe it would have. But if not then wouldn't his Blast be similar to Gohan's and he would just destroy the earth after maybe he would feel like it would be too much trouble or boredom to fight them all after beating up Gohan. ~ Because CELL IS BUILT DIFFERENT! So he has more wishes. ~~ Future you comes back to save the timeline. I guess maybe I can understand why he might choose that instead but I think it's actually more wack that Goku wouldn't have stopped that before it happened and a similar result. ~~~ Shadows!

This is what should've happened. It's not even too far fetched that Vegeta had gotten to mastered SSJ then SSJ2 when seeing trunks die. Toriyama just HATES VEGETA.
