What level do you teach? I am a special ed resource room level 2 plus, not sure how your district categorizes it’s special ed rooms. We have level 1 academic support only which sound like your room, level 2 for behavior and academic support and level 4 self contained. Just curious.

Awe! Im so happy for you in regards to your student who is selective mute. This is a very challenging issue to deal with as a teacher. I worked with twin girls who were selective mute and it took over a year to get them to speak in school. Thank you for sharing, i just downloaded the emotion cards. I really enjoy seeing your techniques. Be blessed. :)

What core assessment for math did you use?

We just had a kinder teacher move to teach first grade because of numbers.

Great video! I love my Erin Condren planner. This is my second year with one and I got the extra pages in it, so I can also use it as a grade book. I bought Avery labels and printed out headings for the weekly lesson plans. It's so easy to do.

Do you have Starbucks IN your Target stores? We (in Western Australia) have Target stores that are nowhere NEAR as good as yours and we don't have Starbucks AT ALL. Oh dear...

Sometimes when I have books that don't fall nicely into a topic, I'll label a basic "blue star" or "purple star" and put those books together and have a corresponding sticker on the corner that goes together.

However I worked with the upper grades a lot this year I will be with the younger grades.
