We finally have the Vaka Hop'e on the water, but immediately we run into problems. The motor is not working - again! We start doubting if we are ever going to leave the Philippines, but we do our best to prepare for depature and wait to see if the motor will be fixed in time.

The Vaka Hop'e crew arrives in the Philippines and gets to see the boat for the first time! The initial excitement soon gets replaced by reality and getting the boat ready to launch is harder than it first seemed. Now I see this very very well made movie on the last days of my outreach in Costa Rica.
