3000 strikeouts - aaahhhh no
Trout's swing isn't that stylish IMO, but it's obviously very efficient and effective.
If not for injuries in 2018,2019,2020 Aaron Judge would have easily 400 hrs,oh and 2023 he hit 37 it's insane A Judge
I wonder if any teams choose their camera placement based on who pitches for them?
It is really hard to judge when you don't include and compare these seasons to who actually won the Cy.
It's really hard to judge when you don't include and compare these seasons to who actually won the Cy.
Underrated workers😢😢
Tony Gwynn. Easy swing, it almost appeared he wasn't even trying.
VIDA BLUE 1971 CY YOUNG...THE LAST SWITCH HITTER TO WIN THE MVP (IN THE SAME YEAR)!
ookie betts?
Aaron judge should be no. 4
What happened to my favorite angle, i.e. over the umpires shoulder watching the pitch come at you? Was a common viewpoint in the 50s and 60s. Now gone. Alas.
You clearly haven’t ever seen David Justice swing. He has the smoothest, most poetic swing baseball has ever seen
You clearly missed that this is a list of current MLB players…
I don't understand why they ALWAYS have to show the game from behind the pitcher. They have other angles they show which would be nice to see as well. At least for a few pitches anyway. Not like the ump cam nonsense, that just makes everyone nauseated. But camera angles that come in from the first or third base sides that show the whole infield during the game would be nice. They rarely show anything except behind the pitcher and as this video clearly shows, we are losing a lot because most of the angles are off-set. There's not many stadiums that do it right. And that's a shame.
I respect your list, but i am really curious how Cody Bellinger doesn't even sniff your list or honorable mentions of smoothest swings in todays game??? He is the closest swing we got to Griffey Jr. who has the smoothest swing of all time.
truly malignant commentary here
Gary Sheffield for sure should be on everybody’s list
thank you Soto!
FYI Sweden is not a communist country.
Hey mister! I let you know that we have dozens of baseball teams in Sweden, dozens! We can't really tell the difference of pitches more than the three, "that counts as a fastball I guess" "yupp, that is a big curve and it almost reach home plate" "I think it went a bit sideways".
👏👏👏👏
It's wild that Aaron Judge isn't on the list🤯
should check out bo bichette's swing. i can watch that swing all day long, smoothest and coolest swing maybe OAT for me personally close to griffey
No mention of Freddie Freeman? ...my addition to this list would be Dominic Canzone.
love it! thank you!
Damn you Yankees fans are hard up for Soto . He’s going to the Mets next year lmao
You didn’t even bring up that it’s two former teammates facing each other
Love it
the cool thing is they were teamates last year
Valid breakdown for sure, pitchers deserve recognition as MVP candidates and Santana stood out above all the rest in 06
SOTO is a BEAST!
This might be the greatest AB ever 🤣
Bonds vs Gagne wants a word
@@niightmaregaming Game winning RBI - Lefty on lefty
Nice Jomboy impression, but that echo has to go.
No one does it like Jomboy
He reminds me so much of Don Mattingly at the plate. SO MUCH DISCIPLINE
Estaba ponchado el árbitro le regaló la tercera bola 😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂😂 No he wasn't
U actually doing this weekly this year?
If you guys enjoy it👀
Amazing work, I subbed
For the low camera angle ball parks, why wouldn't they use two cameras? One for the righties and the other for lefties? Is it just a cost issue in having another camera?
Nice video.
Aaron judge should be here
BRO WTF DID YOU SAY RIP TO GRADY SIZEMORE I THOUGHT HE FUCKING DIED FOR A SEC
poopie
Cargo had the smoothest swing I’ve ever seen. Ken Griffey Jr swing was also gorgeous but for my liking is Cargo for me.
Kershaw number 1
Players have been using performance enhancing substances since the very first professional game - it's a natural consequence of man's competitive nature and our understanding of just how much of an "edge" we can get on the other competitors by partaking (factor in the huge monetary incentives of 100 X-ing contract figures and/or still being a consideration for a roster spot at all and it's easy to see how so many of these guys are choosing this path). Many have "used," most didn't get "caught" throughout history (at least, as far as being covered in national media), and I can guarantee you that some portion, likely a large percentage, of our current HOFs were users of the preferred PHD of their time(s). As I see it, the real question is whether we should punish the one's who're "caught," when knowing full well that there are likely many users whom escape being spotted for every one that is? I personally think it's ridiculous to play this game (as if we're all pretending that the guys who're already in the HOF or are allowed to enter it today were/ are "clean," "non-users" of PEDs, when we all know, deep down, that it's the furthest thing from the truth) and, frankly, I'm a bit disgusted that MLB has embraced that very game. I liken it to politicians acting as if their platforms aren't laden with self-serving motivations and incentives, by insisting that they're devoted to a selfless service to society (which ain't fooling too many 100+ IQ individuals), and justifying their policies around that blatant lie. I say give up the act already! Stop playing these games, end the virtue signaling, except that human nature isn't angelic, and start giving this game's top performers, OF ALL TIME (!!!), their due respect for out-competing the world's top competitors at one of the most competitive sports around the world, regardless of if they were one of the unfortunate users of PEDs that got caught, or not. It's obvious to me, and more than fair in my eyes, that A-Rod and Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire and the rest of the top performing "steroid-crew" have their names etched into Cooperstown. And no, they shouldn't come with an asterisk, because, as I've already stated, and you damn well know that it's true, the HOF is brimming with past inductees who were LOADED on the top PEDs of their time(s) - it's just the nature of this beast... and ALWAYS will be. It's time to face the reality of this situation, folks. Time to swallow that pill and finally become mature sports fans/ spectators. ENOUGH WITH THE GAMES!!!
Enough with 10000 word monologs
Well said sir.
@@chrischar9428 Great constructive feedback, prick, er, I mean, Chris. Thanks for that!
I agree with buxton at 2 I love his swing
Eugenio Suárez should be on this list
And he is!!!!! lol I posted the comment before watching it!!! I knew he had to. Just had to.
Hands high Top hand !!
In japan they have a straight on but more overhead angle and it's the best i've seen
i feel like jazz has the smoothest swing in the MLB rn
