I kind of did!!! It knocked me speechless, which is kind of hard to do. THANK goodness it was on a binder where I had a little extra money because most of my saving money is around $100. That would have been half of it in 1 scratch. I see some people scratch those big numbers and I just can't fathom. Some day maybe..... I was wondering if it was going to be quiet yesterday. People are short on funds and so many shop online now. I am off Monday. Maybe I will venture out to the stores, even though it is "Cyber" Monday.

That is a great idea........ except when it is a surprise for her. I guess I could go tell her to pick out something she likes for a gift for someone else and then I could wrap it up for her!! lol!

You watch so closely!! 😃 I believe the issue was that I had to make change prior to when I started the video and I didn't add the right amount to my Stuffing stack. But I can easily cover a $3 mistake it is the bigger ones that drive me a little bananas.

Yes, I mean I do appreciate the work they do because if they didn't do it I would outside mowing and it would take me a lot longer than 10-15 minutes. it was just not a good day to do the stuffing, and I was already so late doing it! lol. Oh well it is all done now. So you say you started out the same way. Have you changed things to do it differently now? I feel like I am missing out on some different ways to do things and I keep looking for new ideas.

@@TheStruggleBudget I started with a spreadsheet similar to yours and cash envelopes, but I was not tracking spending in the beginning. I was like well if we have enough in the envelope we can spend, if we don't we can't. But I quickly realized that needed to be tracking too, and started doing it in an Erin Condren Deluxe Monthly planner, which is just a planner with a monthly spread, and notes pages in between the months, and I used the notes pages for tracking my spending. That was working, but I just felt like it was time consuming doing everything "manually" and I felt like I was always running to the bank to take money out or redeposit it. So I started to explore apps and software, and ended up deciding on YNAB ( You Need A Budget), so now my budgeting done digitally through the app/website. 💕

Hi! I see you do the electronic budgeting. I am old school with the paper money. If I can't see it and touch it it doesn't exist! Well actually it does exist! And it is too easy for me to spend that way. 😁

@TheStruggleBudget I definitely empathize. I very recently went to electronic budgeting- I've always done paper. AND I still do our variable expenses with cash stuffing and cash envelopes. For the same reason. It did WONDERS for our budget to have it in cash. Even when I spend on a credit card, I have cash to pull from as it helps me to see and comprehend my limits!
