Really like that you put Lukather on the list. You didn’t mention Tommy Bolin at all. I think that Marc Bonilla is the one that could fill that chair today. He got both the rock and fusion thing going, just like Tommy.
I didn't mention Tommy Bolin because he didn't fit the parameters - I never saw him play.
That’s a really great list! One living fusion player you left out and didn’t even mention is Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar. His work with The Section is really underrated.
As great as Kootch is, he hasn't been what could be considered "Fusion" since The Section days. I didn't list Michael Bloomfield even though he's one of my all time favorite "Voices" in Guitar, or Even Paul Kossoff for the same reasons (I had seen Bloomfield, but not a Fusion guitarist)

Are you familiar with Jimi Tunnell? He's unbelievable! Check out his album Trilateral Commission or his playing with Adam Holzman. Andy Timmons is also a beast. Jeff Beck, God bless him! I am thankful that I saw him play many times. He was the master. No one could touch him. It makes me sad that those hands will not be doing those incredible things anymore.
I’ve never seen him or heard of him until this moment. I’ll check him out. Music is such a deep ocean. Even a small sea like Fusion guitarists has more than anyone can “catch”.
